Upon hearing that familiar voice, Bobby and my two brothers quickly let go of me.
The moment I laid eyes on the elegant woman in front of me, I couldn’t hold back my tears any longer.
Ignoring the pain all over my body, I threw myself into her embrace and wrapped my arms tightly around her waist.
“Grandma, I missed you so much!”
Nancy held me gently. Her eyes were full of sorrow as she looked at my swollen forehead.
“I’m sorry I was late, Cindy. I let you suffer.
“Don’t be afraid. Today, I’ll make sure you get justice.”
Nancy’s sudden appearance had clearly caught Bobby and my brothers off guard.
The three of them exchanged uneasy glances.
Bobby took a deep breath and tried to keep his composure while he approached Nancy.
“Mom, I thought you never liked events like this. If you were planning to come, you should’ve told me. I would’ve met you at the door.”
Nancy let out a cold chuckle. “Mom? Who are you calling mom? I only have one child, and that’s my daughter Mona, who gave birth to Cindy. I don’t have any sons, so stop calling me that.”
Seeing that I was still crying, Nancy gently patted my back. She then looked around with a stern gaze.
“If I hadn’t shown up today, would Skyrise Group be changing hands by now?”
She turned back to me and gently stroked my head.
“Cindy, this is all my fault. I failed to protect you. I let you suffer for far too many years.”
Even after getting scolded, Bobby refused to back down and insisted, “You’ve misunderstood. Cindy was using her status to act out and cause a scene in the hall. She even hit Tina, embarrassing the company.
“As her father, it’s my responsibility to discipline her.”
Nancy gave him a frosty glare and snapped, “No need to explain. I’m not deaf. I heard every single word you said loud and clear.
“Let me tell you something, Bobby. I’m still alive, and here you are, already scheming to take over my company.”
My two brothers tried to step in and smooth things over. “Grandma, you’ve truly misunderstood Dad-”
Nancy didn’t even let them finish. She slapped them both across the face without hesitation.
“You two outsiders need to shut your mouths. You have no right to speak in front of me and Cindy!”
Tina, undeterred, shamelessly walked up with a smile on her face.
“Grandma, if I had known you were coming, I would’ve gone to greet you at the entrance.”
She reached out to link arms with Nancy, but Nancy shoved her away hard.
“You’re just a sugar baby. How dare you call me Grandma? You have no shame.”
Skyrise Group was built from the ground up by Nancy when she was young. She was also the only female billionaire in all of Asperio.
Everyone present knew who Nancy was. Her reputation was legendary.

Now that they saw how she treated us, it finally dawned on them that I was her real granddaughter.
Tina was just a sugar baby.
Instantly, the way people looked at Tina changed to disgust and disdain.
“What? Tina’s just a sugar baby? And that guy actually kept her as a sugar baby? What garbage taste.”
“Mr. Watson and his two sons must be out of their minds. The sons call their sister crazy, and the father tried to disown his daughter just to protect some random woman.”
“Wait a minute. Do you think it’s possible all three of them might’ve slept with Tina at some point?”
Bobby and my two brothers were fuming as they listened to the accusations around them. They glared daggers at me.
Tina was also staring at me resentfully.
None of them expected that the first thing I’d do after being reborn was call Nancy and ask her to come and support me.
Seeing the four of them stare at me in unison, I yelled right back at them. “What are you looking at? You did all those things, but now you don’t want to own up to them?”
Nancy nodded in approval beside me. “Cindy’s right. If you dared to do it, you better be brave enough to admit it!”
She took my hand and walked to the front of the crowd. Her gaze swept across the crowd.
“Everyone, listen carefully. This young woman beside me, Cindy, is my biological granddaughter. She is also the rightful heiress
to Skyrise Group.
“Bobby, after today’s celebration, Cindy will officially take over the company.”
Bobby and my two brothers looked utterly defeated after hearing this.
They tried once again to argue with Nancy, but she didn’t even look at them. Instead, she held my hand and led me straight to the seat at the center of the stage.
I glanced at the four of them, disgraced and humiliated, and slowly smiled.
“This is just the beginning. The show is only getting started. I hope you’re ready because I’m not done playing with you yet!‘ I thought.
