When she whimpers my name again, I pull off her nipple and look at her.
“What do you want, Tiana?”
Her eyes are dark and glassy, and her lips are pully. Her nipples are reddened from my attention and as I talk to her, I continue to swirl my fingers around them, loving how hard and tight they are, how easily they respond to my touch.
“I want you, Shane. I want you, but… I’m not on birth control yet,” she whimpers.
“I have condoms, Tiana. I brought some with me. Do you want your first time to be here, with the sun setting and the moon rising? Do you want your first time to be outside with me?”
“Yes, but what about you? What do you want? Is this your first time too?” she asks.
“Yes, but I want my first time to be with you. I love the idea of us giving ourselves to each other here, on my pack lands, under the light of the moon.”
“I have one request,” she says, her hand cupping my cheek and holding my face. “If we do this, if I give myself to you, I don’t want you to be with anyone else until after the Academy. Will you agree to that?”
I growl, shifting myself up so that our eyes are level.
“There has never been anyone else, Tiana. There is no one in this pack that interests me and no one that I’ve ever met in my life that interests me more than you do. I promise to be true to you, if you promise to be true to me,” I say.
I watch her smile, her eyes dropping to my lips as she bites her own.
“No one has ever held as much interest for me as you, Shane. I guess this means we’re officially boyfriend and girlfriend after tonight?” she says, but her tone makes it a question.
“Yes, beautiful. You’re mine. At least until we graduate from the Academy. I better be the only man who enjoys this body until we’re close to our birthdays and find our mates.”
“Agreed,” she says.

I knock on Christian’s door, ready for whiskey talk and to begin pushing him outside of his comfort zone again. I feel confident after my confrontation with Councilman Johnathon that if Christian and I did begin having sex, they wouldn’t do anything about it.
He opens the door and immediately steps back. “Hey, come in. How are you?”
“It’s been a hell of a day.”
“Yes, it has,” he says, walking over and handing me the drink that he already poured.
