Chapter 16
Elena
My family was a family that is said to be from the descendants of the moon goddess. All my family members were born with magic abilities along with strong wolves that were so huge and powerful. I had the pure blood, but that was where it ended. There was nothing spectacular about me nor did I have a wolf. My parents favored my siblings over me because of this, and most times, I was forgotten by my parents over and over again. As the times went by, I slowly went from their daughter to their slave, till it got too unbearable for me so I confronted them about it.
That angered them too much and they decided to banish me from their pack because of it. Coincidentally, I had come across Elijah who was wooing me. I was already in love with Elijah so when he asked that I become his chosen mate, I readily accepted. I kept hoping that my parents would one day change their minds and call me back and that never happened. Elijah never got to know the true reason why I was banished, he didn’t even know I was banished, he just thought I fell out with them because that was less embarrassing than the actual reality.
I was woken up with a sharp slap and I jolted awake to meet myself tied and in a dim room, with some men standing around me talking amongst themselves. They weren’t speaking so quietly so it wasn’t hard to make out what they were speaking about.
“If we record a video of her and send it to her parents, I’m certain they’ll instantly be worried about her, then they’ll send whatever ransom we demand.” One of the men said and the rest of the gang nodded along with him.
“Not a lot of people still remember the family she’s from, but some still do. Her family is very influential and their bloodline is impeccable. After we get the ransom from her parents, we’ll not release their child to them. Instead, In order to get double money, we’ll go sell her at the black market. So many people pay millions for someone of her bloodline.”
As they kept speaking, it wasn’t hard to connect some dots together. I’ve been kidnapped for a recon this stupid? I couldn’t even believe my ears.
After I started a new life with Elijah, I tried hard to not have anything link me back to my parents and even though it worked, some people could still remember my family and I guess these men were a part of those handful of people.
“Are you sure that’s a good idea? Won’t we be caught after we don’t release her despite getting some random?” One of the guys asked this time and the rest scoffed and groaned like the one that just spoke had just asked a ridiculous question.
“We won’t. It’s easy to be honest. You’ll see. At the black market, people would rush to buy her so I’m sure we’ll make a good dough on her head tonight. Even with her reputation online, a lot of men would definitely want her more because of that.” A shorter man spoke and the rest snickered.
“I definitely won’t want her. I like my women untouched.” A different man muttered and they all crackled again.
In all that they had mentioned, none of them had mentioned Blaze, so it’s safe to assume It’s because none of them know that I now belonged to him in a way.

Now, was that a good or a bad thing?
When one of them noticed that I was awake, they all turned towards me and I instantly stiffened. One of them reached out to pull the gag from my month and I was able to breathe well again. I let my eyes briefly wander around. There were five men altogether in here, and we were currently in a small and old looking room that had peeling paints and old looking couches.
“Please don’t hurt me.” I breathed out and they all snickered as one of them crouched before me.
“Just cooperate with us and all would be well, okay?” He crooned, crooked teeth revealed when he grinned darkly at me in a way that made me shudder from fright.
“Don’t bother yourself though. My family is not gonna answer you, they don’t care what happens to me so you’ll only be wasting your time.” I muttered, which was the only truth. My parents would be the last people that would be bothered about news of my kidnap.
“I expected you to say that, but we’ll still reach out to them anyway. Now… smile for the camera…”
“My blood is also useless as well since I have no magic, it’s nothing special so I doubt anyone at the auction you mentioned would be willing to waste a dime on me. You’re only wasting your time,” I explained but got backhanded so hard, my cheek hurt so bad.
“Shut up, you
up, you fool. If what you’re saying is correct, then I suggest you better start praying for a miracle right now because you’ll badly need one if you don’t end up making use of you. We’ll kill you off if you don’t end up being worth all this trouble we’ve gone through, so… better start praying right now.”
After they left, I remained in the same position, too frightened to move and too scared to even breathe properly. Before, I had thought they’d release me if they don’t end up making any money off me, but hearing them say they’d kill me instead was beyond frightening. I let out a shaky breath, wondering if I’d live past tonight at this point.
My mind drifted to Blaze and I wondered what he was currently doing. Surely he must have known that I’ve been kidnapped by now. Would he come rescue me? Or would he be glad that he had finally gotten rid of me?
He might be happy about this kidnap, because if the kidnappers end up killing me like they had promised to do, it would mean the king wouldn’t have to look for a way to reject me. After I die, a new person out there would become his fated mate, and that’s definitely something he’d like, right?
I tried not to let my tears fall and I angrily shoved them back while reminding myself that nothing was gonna come of it so it was gonna be pointless. But I was feeling so dejected on the inside. I only went out to shop this evening per the king’s order, how could I have predict this happening of all things?
After what felt like ages, the kidnappers returned and they were furious as hell as they stormed in and kicked things in their fit of rage.
“Did you really pray? Because like you predicted, your parents didn’t respond to any of our messages despised viewing them. They didn’t care of what happen to you!” Ad one of the men announced, I tried to stop the stab of pain from getting to my heart but it still managed to get there. I had known my parents wouldn’t care, I had literally even warned the kidnappers beforehand, but it still hurt so much to be hit with that same reality. If it had been one of my siblings that got kidnapped, my payments would readily empty out their accounts

“Now, our only option left is the auction taking place tomorrow! I’m starting to believe what you said about your blood not being special because if it was, your parents would have tried to save you.” The first man bit out as he glared down at me with a murderous expression that made me very frightened.
“How did we land such an unlucky steal?” A second man complained just as the third one clapped his hands.
“Grab her hands and drag her to the middle of the room. After this first failure, I feel like we all deserve to have a little fun with her. Don’t you think so, guys?”

My heart was beating against my chest and I instantly began to hope the rest of the guys would be against that suggestion.
“Are you sure that won’t affect her value at the black market?” One of the guys asked but he was starting to regard me with hungry eyes.
“Honestly, I’m starting to realize that she might not be worth much whether we do this or not. She really has no wolf or special abilities like we hoped, so she won’t be able to put on any magic trick at the auction that’s supposed to attract us the most buyers. And that means we might barely get anyone interested to get her for a high amount even if she’s pretty. So, it definitely wouldn’t hurt to have some fun with her.”
With that said, the guys approached and grabbed me at once while I screamed.
“Aw baby, we’ll make it feel good! You clearly liked cock so badly when you were mated to your past mate and that’s why you whored yourself out so badly, right? So, this should feel like the same thing.” One of them crooned as my legs got roughly shoved apart.
