I stiffened at once, my eyes widening. I instantly went to leave right now. This is so scandalous, this is something that I definitely wasnt supposed to be listening in. I awkwardly turned back stouny just as mays let out a deep moan, her head thrown back as she got pounded into hard and fast by the king who had a blank, unreadable expression on his face right now. For someone currently balls deep in someone, he looked quite bored, and in the next moment, our eyes locked.
“Close the door!” The king suddenly called out and I flinched and hurried ro do just that, then I stood stiffly while trying to pretend they weren’t having sex right in front of me. It’s harder to do because Maya was just so loud, and the Sheri thrusts of the king…
“What did you come here to do?” Maya asked, voice breathless and choppy as she spoke through moans. A glean was in her eyes when it met with mine and I instantly recognized what she’s trying to do. She’s trying to rub this into my face right now. To remind me of the difference between us, that’s she’s in a position I won’t ever be in.
I kept my face completely blank and straight at the side of the room as I cleared my throat to speak.
“I came here to thank you for the phone, your majesty,” I spoke stiffly and this time, the king finally grunted. Our eyes locked almost immediately when I glanced in his direction and my heart stuttered in my chest a little at the sudden intense look in his eyes in the next moment.
“You’re welcome.” He finally stated and I let out a long beret as I nodded, already planning on fleeing from this office right now.
“I helped select the model of the phone and the color.” Maya called out and it was clear she did this to appear good before the king and not because she cared about me. I forced myself to smike at her as I thanked her, then as soon as I was out of the room, I let out a long breath, feeling kind the rug just got pulled from underneath my feet. I felt extremely disgusted and I felt the urge to puke. The king was so shameless, they didn’t even have the curtesy to not continue right in my presence, but they did, like a way to remind me that I was worthless.
My stomach was turning with disgust once I got to my room and I threw up a little before washing my face and trying to regulate my system and returb it back to normal. Sadly, the picture of maya moaninf while being fucked hard just don’t leave my mind despite how hard I was trying not to think about it. I wished to scratch Maya’s eyes or stab it out with a fuck, no one has ever annoyed me as much as she has and it’s barely been three days. Is this how the rest of my life is gonna be? I let out an irritated sigh as I left the bathroom and once in my bedroom again, the new phone caught my eyes and I decreed to power it up set it up.
I proceeded to do just that after charging it, and once it came on, I logged into my social media account, and once I was finally in, I was unable to believe all that was right here on my timeline.

It was something else, the allegations were way more than I expected and I didn’t even realize my reputation was this damaged. I was beyond baffled and hurt filled up every inch of my body as I kept scrolling through the internet, my heart broke more and more as I kelt scrolling, Elijah hadn’t held back at it, he went all out. All the people that Apprently slept with me while I was with my mate came out to explain how easy it had been and how desperate for them I had been.
It made sense why blaze believed all of this, along with normal people. I was being criticized by the entire internet, and those that wernt that, wanted to walk in my footsteps, a footsteps which never happened and was only made up.
Anger filled my heart as I thought of Elijah. I was gonna make him pay no matter what.
I moved to my private messages, scrolling through the thousand of messages waiting for me from my friends. They were so worried and had kept damaging where I was currently at and if I was fine. They were three in number, my best friends that I’ve been friends with since I was a kid, and we’re still the best of friends till this very moment. In the thousands of messages they left, they never doubted if the things online were real, they instantly knew it was my mate’s doing.
They had been present that night at Elijah and I’s anniversary party, where my life officially began to crumble. If I had known, I shouldn’t have gone home that night after Elijah blatantly lied against me at that party and released a formulated proof to show the crowd present that I was cheating on him. But I went home because all of that still felt confusing to me and I needed an explanation.
My biggest mistake.
I responded to their messages in our joined groupchat and almost immediately, they bombarded me with a lot of questions at once, demanding where I was at and why I went silent on them for days.
Instead of trying to explain anything, I put a video call through to them. Once their familiar faces showed on the screen, tears filled my eyes and I was crying before I knew it. It helped that they started crying almost immediately, then at a point, the tears switched to laughter.
“I missed you guys so much, I thought I won’t ever see you again.” I choked out as I hurriedly cleaned my
eyes.
“Where have you been though?! We were so worried!” Aria cried out, the worry and concern clear in her voice.
“I’m sorry I was silent for days, I didn’t mean to. I just got a phone today and that’s why I can speak to you today.” I explained and they all frowned.
My best friends‘ names were Aria, Tina and Blair. They were my bestest girls and my ride or die.
“Explain from the beginning, please. We went to visit your mate to demand your whereabouts. He told us after he rejected you, you ran off with one of your losers, but we knew that clearly wasn’t through and we told him that and called his bullshit out. He asked us to do whatever we wanted and that no one would listen to us so we’d be wasting our time.” Blair spoke this time and the rage within me towards Elijah tripled.
“That bastard.” I spat out, then I proceeded to explain the entire thing that happened to me in the past three days. By the time I was done, they were so shocked, they couldn’t close their mouths.

“We want to come see you tomorrow, give us the address.” Tina barked out and my heart filled up with so much love for them again.
“I doubt the king would allow it but I’ll still try to ask him first.” I explained on a sigh and my friends swooned, leaning forward almost at the same time.
“So, what does he look like? Is he hot?” Aria asked
“That doesn’t matter.” I muttered in response.”
“Girl, the alpha of alphas? The fates sure is funny as hell. This feels exciting and scary at the same time.” Tina mused.
“So, have you two done anything else yet?” Blair asked this time and I scoffed, an image of blaze and Maya briefly resurfacing in my mind, instantly filling me up with irritation. I’d need to bleach my mind at this point.
“Of course we haven’t and we definitely won’t. The one we did at the mate hunt was clearly a mistake which won’t ever happen again. Remember that he’s only keeping me here because be can’t reject me after biting me a little. I like that we’re never ever gonna have sex, he’s annoying, arrogant, rude, and he also believes all the lies Elijah formulated about me, so I really do hate him.” I was breathing hard once I finished.
“But he saved you last night from those assulters, and he did get you a phone today. It doesn’t sound like he’s that bad.” Aria reasoned and I wanted to argue but later decided against it because I didn’t know what to say to that.
“Good luck with the insemination! I believe that it would work out. The problem might have been from Elijah this whole time anyway.” Blair began and a frown settled on my face as I sighed.
“Even if it works and I take in, it still won’t be what I want. I hoped to one day have a baby with a loving mate, a child born out of love, and not something like this.” I mumbled and my friends sympathized with me, making me feel overwhelmed with love.
“In this situation, beggars can’t be choosers. If you do take in, at least you’ll have something that would start giving you joy since it’s something you’ve always looked forward to.” It was Tina this time. Tina was the voice of reason between the four of us.
I nodded after a few moments. “You’re right.”
“And who knows? After you take in, the king might start to grow affections for you.” Blair wagged her brows as age spoke and I let out a scoff as I flopped into the bed.
“I highly doubt that because he has a woman he can’t seem to get enough, I think he’s in love with her.”
After that, my friends sympathized with me some more, and after a few more exchanges, before promising to speak again in a day, then the call ended.
I dropped the phone on my bedside table and just stared at the roof without feeling anything, just as the crow’s offer briefly crossed my mind. As soon as it came in, I shoved it away super fast, feeling revolted to have subconsciously thought of that.
That’s something I’ll never stoop down to no matter what.
