Ethan threw punches and kicked wildly at Dylan, who was still on the couch. He cursed inwardly. They’ve always pushed Mom and me around. They’re all monsters. I’m gonna protect Mom and Luna from now on. No one’s ever gonna hurt them again.
Dylan’s voice dropped cold. “Little punk, you’re asking for trouble, huh?”
Well, since Penumbra Group couldn’t kill you, then I’ll finish the job myself, Dylan thought.
You miss your daddy, huh? Good. I’ll do you a favor and send you to see him today, Dylan said as he reached. for Ethan.
He knew clearly that only when Ethan died, Sophia’s grip on the company would shatter, and with that, he’d finally own it all. For that goal, there was nothing he wouldn’t do.
But before his hand could even touch Ethan, Luna stepped in. In a flash, she pulled Ethan into her arms and placed him somewhere safe.
Dylan narrowed his eyes and studied the girl in front of him. It had been five years, but he recognized her instantly. This was the same Luna who had been locked up five years ago.
“Well, well. Never thought you’d walk out of prison. I figured you died in there,” Dylan sneered.
He thought smugly, ‘She was no match for me five years ago. And now? I’m a Four–Star Martial Artist. She doesn’t stand a chance.
Sophia stood frozen as she looked at her daughter. Luna had grown into a stunning young woman–taller, stronger, and even more breathtaking than before.
“Luna? Is it really you?” Sophia asked in disbelief.
She had dreamed of this moment a hundred times, waking each time in tears. The guilt had never left her. She always blamed herself for not protecting her daughter well, so she suffered a lot.

Dylan sneered, “So how was life in prison? Miss it yet? Wanna go back? Think the Walker family will just let you walk around free?”
He wasn’t bluffing. After all, Luna had once killed the head of the Walker family. They were one of the most powerful families in Metroville. Dylan never expected Luna to come out of prison alive.
Luna ignored him completely and turned to Sophia. “Mom, come here.
Sophia didn’t hesitate but got up at once. Even though she didn’t fully understand what was going on, she felt something about Luna now–something that made Sophia trust her without question.
