“Heh, aren’t you too full of yourself?” the leading man sneered, cracking his knuckles. He was already making a silent promise that he was gonna teach this brat a serious lesson.
Without any warning, he launched a fast and brutal attack. No holding back just because she was a girl.
“Luna, watch out,” Ethan yelled, worry written all over his face. He knew the Blackwoods were bad people. They used to bully him and his mom all the time.
And this guy looked a full head taller than Luna. Ethan was scared Luna might not win.
Luna just gave a lazy smirk. The next second, she grabbed the man’s arm and twisted it back, then the sound. of a bone snapping echoed through the alley.
Luna never showed mercy to scum like this. She wasn’t the type to hold back out of principle.
The man let out a loud scream. He had some status in the Blackwood family. After all, he was a Four–Star Martial Artist. That ranked pretty high, even in Metroville.
That was why he’d been so confident when he promised Judy he could bring Luna back no problem. But the fight had barely started, and his left arm was already done for.
He stumbled back several steps, his eyes wide as he stared at Luna. It was only after she moved that he realized that her level was far beyond his. And worse, she hadn’t even gone all out.
“You okay, boss?” his men called out, rushing forward in panic.
They wondered, “No way. How the hell did that happen? Boss is a Four–Star. That’s a big deal around here.
Clutching his injured arm, the man gritted his teeth and growled, “Get her, all of you. I want them both cripple for good.”
In his mind, he fumed, ‘She dares to break my arm? Fine. Then I’ll break her and that little brat too. I don’t care how strong she is. We’ve got the numbers.
‘Most of these guys are Two–Star Martial Artists. No way a young girl like her can handle us all.
“Don’t worry, boss. We’ve got your back, one of the men said, itching to prove himself.
They all knew their boss was still looking for a second–in–command. If they played this right today, that spot might just be theirs.
Thus, a dozen guys charged straight at Luna, but none of them even got close.
Luna flicked her wrist, and a handful of silver needles shot out like lightning. In an instant, they sliced through the air and pierced every one of the attackers. All of them dropped like sacks of bricks.
The leading guy stood frozen, unable to believe what he’d just seen. He wondered, ‘What the hell? Am I seeing things? That’s unreal.

The downed fighters started groaning. Their inner energy was scrambled. They couldn’t even control their breathing, let alone fight.
Just then, Julian and Noah, who had rushed into the alley to help Luna, stopped dead in their tracks. They’d expected to step in and save Lama. Instead, they saw her wipe the floor with the entire group.
Noah’s jaw nearly hit the ground. As a Six–Star Martial Artist, he could tell the leader was at least a Four–Star. And those other guys were definitely Two–Stars.
And yet Luna handled them like she was swatting flies. In fact, Noah couldn’t even sense her level.

Noah let out a low whistle and joked, “Mr. Frost, if you ever marry Ms. Blackwood and y’all end up fighting. I wouldn’t put money on either side,”
‘Her strength is unreal, Noah thought.
At first, Noah hadn’t agreed with Julian dropping everything in Grovis just to chase after Luna to another city. But now, he understood exactly why Julian couldn’t forget her.
