Chapter 26

Julian and Noah had shipped into the hall at some point. He immediately picked a hidden spot in the corner, blending into the shadows. Noals followed close behind, doing his best to stay unnoticed.
Staying in the corner, the two of them heard the entire messy feud between Luna and the Blackwoods.
Julian’s face stayed grim. He thought bitterly, Eliot was once Luna’s fiancé? Her taste is awful. What’s so great about him? Just a Six–Star Martial Artist acting like he owns the world. What’s there to brag about?”
“Mr. Frost, do you want me to step in?” Noah asked in a low voice.
He thought. The way they’re treating Ms. Blackwood is way out of line. Fighting a Five–Star Martial Artist, a Six–Star, plus a dozen officers alone? Even if she’s invincible, she can’t take them all!
“Wait. Let’s keep watching, Julian replied calmly. He knew the Blackwoods were a knot she cut them out completely, he would never truly have a place there.
in Luna’s heart. Unless
From the side, Noah noticed the way Julian looked at Eliot, and there was nothing friendly in it.
Meanwhile, what was supposed to be a grand engagement had turned into a circus. Olivia never expected Luna’s arrival would flip everything upside down.
“Eliot, I’m sorry. If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t be stuck like this,” Olivia whined, her eyes glistening with
icars.
“Fine. I’ll fight you, Eliot said firmly. He couldn’t let Olivia be humiliated. She was his choice, and he had to protect her.
“Both of you, come at me,” Luna said after making sure Sophia and Ethan were safe. “This is between the three of us anyway.”
“Go, Luna. I believe in you,‘ Ethan shouted, his eyes shining with excitement.
Sophia grabbed her son’s arm, worry heavy in her gaze.
Someone in the crowd whispered. “Hey, who do you think will win? Eliot’s in the Metroville Warfare Division. He must be the real deal.”
Another inan said, “I bet Luna’s gonna get wrecked. She’s way too cocky.”
“Cocky? Maybe. But damn, doesn’t she look badass right now? I’ve never seen a woman fight like this. I’m a fan of her now,” a girl exclaimed.
What they expected was Luna getting crushed. Instead, her presence left them stunned.
A young girl spoke up, “Honestly, compared to Luna, Olivia’s nothing. Next to Luna, she just looks plain.”
“Eliot, don’t hold back, Judy called out, trying to show her support to Eliot and Olivia. “She dared strike me, and she should learn a lesson. Just do this for our family.”

“Enough with the nonsense,” Luna snapped.
She checked the time. It was almost time for Ethan to sleep, and Luna had no patience left to waste. She
struck first..
Five years ago, Luna had fought Eliot once before. Back then, she was weak and couldn’t even take one move from him.
But now? Her attacks were fierce, sharp, and unlike anything Eliot had ever seen. The moment he hesitated, Luna’s fist crashed into his chest. It was the exact same strike she’d used on Olivia carlier.
Eliot was stronger than Olivia, but Luna had still only used seven–tenths of her strength.
The moment Eliot took that punch, he realized Luna’s strength matched his own. He pulled himself together, no longer daring to underestimate her.
Olivia, who at first hadn’t wanted to fight, saw Eliot take a hit and decided to make her move. She slipped behind Luna, ready to strike from the back.
“Damn it. Olivia’s going for a cheap shot,” Noah muttered, unable to hold back. “That’s just too damn shameless.
Julian’s fists clenched tightly. He cursed inside, “That bitch. She dares to hurt my woman?”
But Luna seemed to have sensed danger behind her. She noticed Olivia’s sneak attack the instant it came. And instead of dodging right away, she deliberately left an opening. Olivia thought she’d found her chance and was already gloating-
Then, in a blink, Luna kicked Eliot aside and spun around. She caught Olivia’s arm and snapped it with at ruthless twist. The crack of bone filled the air.
Judy’s face went pale when she heard that loud crack.
Olivia screamed, the sound piercing and raw. She hadn’t imagined Luna could counter so fast, much less break her arm cleanly.
“Olivia,” Eliot shouted, horror etched in his voice. He heard the crack too. He never thought Luna’s strength could be this terrifying
He rushed forward to catch Olivia as she collapsed, and they both went down together.
The crowd stared in shock, wide–eyed. None of them could believe this was the same Luna they once called useless. Just five years away, and she’d returned with a power they couldn’t even measure.
Olivia shook with pain, her body spasming uncontrollably. She had always cared most about her image, but now, she was a mess, stripped of dignity.
Meanwhile, Luna calmly pulled a napkin from the table and wiped her hands, as if she’d touched something filthy.
“Olivia, you’re such a disappointment,” Luna said with cold mockery, “A soldier from the Division even chose

sneak attacks? Shame on you.”

Every trained fighter in the room knew how vicious Olivia’s move had been. If Luna hadn’t reacted fast, she would have been the one lying broken on the floor.
“Luna, how dare you lay hands on officers of the Division?” one of the senior commanders barked. Around a dozen of them drew their guns in unison.
They thought bitterly, ‘So what if she’s strong? Against weapons, even Luna would be outmatched.
Eliot lifted his hand, motioning for them to hold back. “This is between us. Just leave it to me.”
He handed Olivia off to Celeste and stepped toward Luna again. “Luna, five years ago, I thought it was just an accident. But now? You’re vicious to the core. I won’t show you mercy anymore.”
Seeing his self–righteous face, Luna almost laughed. She shot back, “By all means. Don’t hold back.”
Then she attacked again, faster and fiercer. She knew now that Eliot was no better than Olivia. The two of them really were a perfect pair.
This time, Luna struck with eight–tenths of her strength. Eliot went flying, his body slamming down hard.
A Six–Star Martial Artist like him, and even Olivia with her Five–Star rank, were nothing in Luna’s hands.
all out. Against Luna, they had no chance. And the truth was, Luna hadn’t even gone
“Kill her. Kill her now.” Eliot raged from the ground, humiliated beyond control. He shouted at his men, his voice full of fury.
