As the vice CEO of Hurricane Media and also Collin’s lover, no matter who came, he had to show up and exchange a few words.
“Actually, if you look closely, you can still see some resemblance between Thomas and Jaden, but only a little. From a genetics perspective, they must have a blood relation,” said Chris.
Usually, Francesca rarely spoke when she was with Chris, but today, perhaps because Shannon was also
present, she was able to say a bit more.
“That’s true. These two share similar heights and bone structures, but all of that is hidden beneath their
appearance. Outsiders definitely wouldn’t notice. It’s not a big deal.”
Jessica’s worry was naturally not about Thomas recognizing Jaden’s identity.

What she worried about was the power that the Hall family currently held.
Collin walked over with Jaden. “Mr. and Mrs. Hall, thank you for coming.”
“Mr. Phillips, you achieved so much at a young age. People like us who are older are just here to join the fun. This must be Mr. Frost from Hurricane Media, right? It’s better to meet in person than to just hear
about you. I’ve heard a lot about you.”
Jaden lowered his head and looked at the hand extended by Thomas. Collin was about to smooth things
over, but Jaden raised his hand and said, “Hello.”
It was something he had been thinking about all along. After so many years abroad, he always wondered what it would be like to meet his family in the Hall family again, whether he would lose control.
But it seemed that he was good at controlling his emotions, at least, he didn’t show any weakness in
front of these two.
“Please make yourselves comfortable.”
Collin took Jaden and walked away.
“How are you?” Collin asked with some concern.
Jaden shook his head. “It’s fine. They didn’t recognize me.”
Collin said, “You don’t look like Thomas or Sir Hall. Not many people would notice. You go find Jessica. A few others just arrived. I’ll handle things here. You can take this time to calm yourself down a little.”
“Okay.”

When he reached Jessica and the others, he didn’t hold back and immediately found a place to sit. He picked up a glass of champagne from the table and drank it all in one go.
Indya had just arrived and was sitting beside Francesca, asking about work from a few days ago. Seeing this scene, Indya propped his chin up and smiled.
As the director of the Wilder family’s public relations department, Indya was confident in her beauty. Her
black evening gown swayed gracefully. Just sitting there smiling at Jaden had already attracted the
attention of several men nearby.
But Indya was actually quite indifferent in this regard.
Though she talked business and drank wine, chatting about all sorts of things with men who came and
went as they pleased, she had never truly loved anyone.
Being beautiful was enough. She would always be happy on her own.
“Mr. Frost has quite a tolerance for alcohol. The banquet hasn’t even started yet, so don’t get drunk,” said
Indya.
Jaden glanced at her. “That won’t happen.”
“When you’re in a bad mood, you get drunk easily. Better be careful. The Hall family is represented by Thomas and Lynsey. Looks like there’s no one worthy in the younger generation of the Hall family that they could send.”
Chris worried about Jaden’s mood. “Will you be nervous meeting him?”
Nervous?
Jaden reflected on his inner feelings and realized he wasn’t nervous at all. Instead, he felt excited.
“No. I’ve been looking forward to seeing him for a long time, but I didn’t expect it to be at this kind of occasion,” said Jaden, turning his head to look.
