After lunch, Chris wanted to first take Jessica back to the Wilder Group, then head back to the hospital
himself.
While waiting at a traffic light, Jessica said, “Actually, finding the will is very important to us. We can trace the people behind the Hall family.”
Chris said, “Then where do you think such an important thing could be kept by Sir Hall? Did Sir Hall
really have no one he particularly trusted? Didn’t Jaden’s mother have any relatives?”
According to Jessica’s investigation, there were none.
But… the exact situation still needed to be asked of Jaden.
“Let’s not worry about others for now, think about ourselves. We’ve both been too busy lately. We even
have to squeeze in time for lunch. When will this ever end?”
Jessica said, “The Montvue Tower project will start soon. Once it gets on track, it’ll be fully handed over to Maggie and her team. Then I’ll have some free time. How about you?”

sentence?
Rubbing her head, Jessica sighed. “It’s okay, just do your best. For this surgery, I plan to have Hurricane Media do a preview broadcast to promote the Summit Infirmary in advance. If it succeeds, we’ll celebrate the IPO. If it fails, there can’t be any negative impact. Otherwise, the board won’t let you off easily.”
That was obvious.
Fortunately, Hurricane Media had a solid relationship with them.
After dropping Jessica off at the Wilder Group, she leaned over and kissed Chris lightly on the lips, whispering, “I’ll come home early tonight.”

The car sped away, Just as Jessica was about to climb the steps, she heard two beeps behind her. Turning around, she saw a black MPV’s window slowly rolling down, revealing a familiar yet somewhat unfamiliar face.
It was Michael.
The driver was already standing outside the rear door. Michael smiled and waved. “Jessica, I’ve been

Jessica hesitated for a moment. After all, this was the Wilder Group’s main entrance. What if the
paparazzi caught her getting into Michael’s car?
Michael seemed to see what Jessica was thinking. “Don’t worry. I’m no longer responsible for the Hall Group’s entertainment department. I can’t be bothered calling paparazzi for things like this. I just want to talk with you.”
Different identities, different statuses, different ways of speaking and acting.
This time, Jessica didn’t hesitate. The driver opened the door, and she got in.
“I still have a meeting this afternoon. If you have anything to say, then just be quick.”
Michael thought of Jessica’s smile when she just got out of Chris’s car, and combined with her current coldness toward him, he felt a dull pain inside.
He was five years late. Could everything really be irreparable?
“Are you satisfied with my new identity?” Michael tilted his head, smiling. “I see you don’t seem surprised at all by my true identity.”
“It was something suspected long ago. What’s there to be surprised about?” said Jessica. “Also, congratulations on enduring humiliation all these years in the Hall family, marrying into the Jills family as a pawn. Now it seems your suffering has finally paid off.”
“Sure enough, you know me too well. You knew my marriage to Helen was to endure humiliation,”
Michael said satisfyingly.
