“Aurora, what should we call the studio?”
Megan scrolled through her phone, her expression caught somewhere between thoughtful and frustrated. “Honestly, ever since you mentioned starting one, I’ve been brainstorming names, but nothing feels right.”
She sighed, clearly exasperated. Megan really was hopeless when it came to naming things.
“I haven’t figured it out either. I’ve just been throwing myself into the idea of actually starting the studio.” Aurora mirrored her friend’s conflicted look.
In the end, both of them had been tripped up by something as simple as coming up with a name.
Megan kept swiping on her phone, unwilling to give up.
They both knew how important a name was–it could make the studio stand out, draw attention, and set the tone for everything that followed.
Just as the two were at an impasse, Aurora’s phone lit up with a call from Ian.
She picked it up.
“Miss Aurora, I’ve handed in my resignation.”
Hearing his voice on the other end, Aurora blinked in surprise. “Didn’t I tell you to wait a little longer?”
She hadn’t expected him to act so quickly.
The studio wasn’t even off the ground yet. What if this hurt Ian’s income in the meantime? Working at Walton Corporation had at least given him stability.
But Ian’s voice was firm with determination.
“Miss Aurora, I want to grow alongside you. Please don’t turn me away. I know the studio isn’t established yet but just being able to work with you–that’s all I’ve ever wanted.
“I want to watch it rise step by step, and I want to be part of every single one of those steps.”
Aurora’s chest tightened, her heart softening.
Of course she’d been right about him. Even now, he was thinking about her studio’s future first.
“Alright then, I just hope you won’t regret it.” Aurora’s voice was steady.
“I’d never regret it.”
Ian’s reply came firm and serious through the line. “Miss Aurora, I’m not joking. At this point, I mean

every word.
“I’ve worked under you at Walton Corporation for so long–you know exactly what kind of person I am. I
“‘m a man of my word. Since I’ve decided to follow you, I won’t hesitate. We’ll go all in, together.”
Aurora pressed her hand to her forehead, a small sigh slipping out.
“Don’t worry, Ian. I won’t let your trust go to waste. But… right now, I actually have a problem.”
Ian froze on the other end. If Aurora couldn’t solve it, then it had to be something big–something difficult.
“Miss Aurora, tell me,” he urged earnestly. “If it’s something I can take on, I’ll go through fire and water for
you.”
Even so, he wasn’t certain. If this was beyond Aurora’s reach, how could a small fry like him possibly fix it? Still, he meant every word–he’d try with everything he had.
Aurora couldn’t help a laugh, both touched and exasperated. Clearly, Ian had misunderstood what she
meant.
Megan, nibbling on her dessert, glanced curiously at Aurora. Who exactly was she talking to with that
expression?
The next second, Aurora saved her the suspense.
She switched the call to speaker and said matter–of–factly, “Ian, I’m with Megan right now. She’s going to be my business partner in the studio.
“The problem we’re stuck on is… we don’t know what to name it. And since you’re joining us too, I’m handing this one to you.”
