“Alright, no more compliments. Let’s meet this afternoon to discuss the location.” Aurora cut off the polite business exchange.
“Of course, Miss Aurora, I can come in anytime.” Ian once again expressed his loyalty.
After all, leaving Walton Corporation was mainly for Aurora. Now that she was opening a studio of her own, lan was genuinely happy for her.
Staying by her side, he had learned so much. If there was hope, he would definitely do everything he could to help.
He was determined to support this studio well. As long as he wasn’t dismissed, he would work diligently
under Aurora.
After hanging up the call, Aurora and Megan exchanged a look, finally relieved of the worry that had
weighed on them.
“Frost & Clear Studio?” Megan repeated softly, delight shining in her eyes. “Aurora, I really love this name.
It’s perfect for the two of us.”
“It’s all thanks to Ian.” Aurora nodded earnestly. “This time we really owe him. Once everything is set up,
we’ll have to give him a raise and promotion.”
“We’re checking out office locations this afternoon. Do you want me to come along?” Megan asked.
“Of course, I want you with me.” Aurora clasped her hand. “Don’t even think of slacking off. This studio
belongs to both of us. It’s like raising a child–we’ll watch it grow together.”
“Or do you plan to miss out on its life?” Aurora’s sharp gaze landed on Megan.
Megan quickly shook her head. “No, no, I wouldn’t dare.”
“Then let’s grab lunch somewhere nearby, and in the afternoon, we’ll meet Ian.” Megan suggested.
“Sounds perfect.”
Vanguard Group.
Lucas looked at the documents on his desk, irritation rising in his chest.
Yesterday’s events had left him even more unsettled.
Aurora had gone to a place like that behind his back.
Though she had explained it yesterday, he still felt a bit unsettled.

But when Aurora mentioned starting a studio yesterday, he couldn’t tell if she had really prepared for it or if it was just something she said casually.
Lucas frowned. Saying things on a whim didn’t sound like her style.
He pressed the intercom and called Desmond in.
“Mr. Carter, do you have any instructions?”
Desmond quickly entered the office.
“Check if my wife has been looking at new locations lately,” Lucas said.
Hearing this, Desmond couldn’t help but glance at him.
Lucas and his wife shared a bed, yet he didn’t even know where she planned to open her studio? Who
would believe that if it got out?
Lucas caught his assistant’s look and asked in confusion, “What is it? Why are you just standing there?”
“It’s nothing, Mr. Carter. I was just a little curious. Shouldn’t you be the one who knows this best?”
This was the kind of thing couples should be able to discuss in whispers, so why was he, an outsider,
being sent to investigate? Was this just to mess with him?
Desmond honestly couldn’t figure out what Lucas was thinking.
Hearing those words, Lucas froze in his chair.
