Chapter 166
“Yes. I was late for warrior training this morning, otherwise I would have washed it off. I’m sorry. I got a little drunk on your taste last night and like I said, it was a lapse in judgement.”
“So that wasn’t a dream?” I squeak.
He slowly shakes his head, watching me.
“So that was YOU all over my thighs this morning? That’s why your scent was so strong on me?” I ask.
“Yes. I’m so sorry, Enya. I know you trusted me, and I betrayed that trust. I swear it won’t happen again.”
“And you’re NOT disgusted by me?” I ask, needing clarification.
“I just told you I made you come in your sleep and you’re asking if I’M disgusted by YOU? Shouldn’t you be thinking of that the other way around?”
A slow smile spreads across my face. “I’m not disgusted. And if you’re not disgusted, then perhaps I SHOULD sleep in your bed more often.”
“Enya,” he growls.
“I’m just saying, it was a great dream and to find out that it was real?”
He covers his face with his hand. “You really are going to be the death of me, aren’t you?”
Christian
I swear the Moon Goddess is testing me. I feel like maybe I failed at something in my life and now she’s given me Enya to force me to face my weakness. With Enya, I feel like everything about me is a weakness. I took control last night, only to have it snatched away again just by tasting her deliciousness.
Now she wants to share my bed? That’s a terrible idea. Except every part of me wants that and my wolf is practically clawing to the surface to take over so he can make it happen.
“You don’t have to say yes, just don’t say no. If I promise not to tease you or push for more

with you, then maybe you would be willing to let me sleep in your bed. The truth is, Christian, last night was the best night’s sleep I’ve had since my parents died.”
“That might have had more to do with the explosive orgasm you had, not because you were in my bed, Enya.”
“Just think about it. That’s all I’m asking. I promise I’ll behave.”
I give her a look. “I know you will. You told me last night you
had learned your lesson.
“Yes. That was … I don’t even know what that was …” she says, blushing.
“Tonight, we’ll start over,” I say.
She nods. “Okay. And maybe we can talk about the Academy today. I’ve started looking over the classes and I have some questions.”
“Let’s save that for tonight. I have a project I was hoping you could handle for me. Shane and I are still filtering through the financials, making sure everything is back where it should be. We set up the ordering system in the pack hospital, but the problem is, we need to get the current inventory into the system. I was hoping since you already know the system and do the inventory for the kitchen, that you might be willing to take on that project for Shane and I.”
“I’d be happy to. Is there a particular way you want it inventoried? A way that you want the supplies categorized?” she asks.
“Talk to Dr. Charles and Nurse Linda, see what makes sense to them. They are the ones who will have to use the system once you’re gone,” I say.
“Okay. I can do that.”
“Thanks, Enya.”

“Have a good day, Christian.
“You too.”
