Back at the royal Pack’s mansion, Julian parked the car. Sera walked inside and found Chloe on the sofa in her pajamas. She was munching on snacks and watching TV.
Sera asked on purpose, “Didn’t you say you were going to a mixer and wouldn’t be back?”
Chloe smirked, feigning shyness. “Oh, Sera, I forgot to tell you I had a boyfriend. We had a fight, so I went to the mixer to make him jealous. At first he said he didn’t care, but the minute I arrived at the party, he showed up and took me away. He is a strong wolf, bite me every part of my body.”
She deliberately lowered her neckline, revealing the fresh hickeys along her collarbone, dark bruises that weren’t meant for Sera’s eyes. Then, she gave Sera a provocative look.
“I didn’t expect him to be so possessive. He practically F**Ked me in the car–three times! He was so good, he physically made me remember that I was his.”
Sera’s nails dug into her palms, pain shooting through her. She inhaled sharply.“When did you get a boyfriend? Why didn’t you tell me?”
Chloe shrugged carelessly.“Three months ago.”
Chloe moved into the mansion exactly three months ago, shortly after starting a job in the city. Julian’s best friend had asked him to look after her.
So, she’d been sleeping with Julian from first day!
Sera’s breath hitched. Before she could speak, strong arms encircled her shoulders.
Julian entered, his voice low and soothing, laced with the unspoken command of an alpha calming his mate.“Sera, you’re exhausted. Let me run you a bath and take you to get some rest, okay?”
He practically shoved her into the bathroom. his lycan was restless, sensing her distress, but instead of letting her comfort Chloe, he wanted to shield her from the truth. his lycan’s eyes showed agonizing despair. Julian’s didn’t get it.
Sera started to undress, then she realized she’d forgotten getting her pajamas. As she opened the door, a searing scene unfolded before
her.
Julian was roughly taking off Chloe’s nightgown and pinning her to the sofa. His hands were gripping her waist, his lips trailing possessively down her throat.
Her Julian.
Chloe arched her back, moaning, “Ah… ah… harder please! Sera’s still in the shower! That car sex wasn’t enough for you?”
Julian’s grip tightened, Chloe’s moans turning into whimpers.
“Shut up!” he growled.“See another man again and you’ll regret it! You are mine!”
Chloe’s lips curled into a triumphant smile. Then, her eyes gleamed with pride as she met Sera’s gaze.
“Okay, I won’t. I’m all yours,” she purred.“Mr. Jealousy!”
Unable to bear it any longer, Sera grabbed her pajamas and slammed the bathroom door shut. Her wolf howled inside her, clawing to be set free, to make Julian suffer. She cut the mind link in case Julian noticed.

a guy with impressive abs on the beach, and then Julian turned stony–faced.
That night, he had locked them in their suite, his hands gripping her as if she would disappear. His control snapped, and before she could react, his body shifted–fur sprouting, claws elongating, his sheer size overwhelming her. He had worshipped her, claimed her over and over until she could barely stand. She gasped, her body stretching to accommodate him, an unbearable fullness rendering her breathless. Every nerve in her body ignited, her muscles trembling under the sheer intensity of him. Her fingers clutched at his fur–covered shoulders, but she had no control–her body was no longer her own, only his to command, his to claim.
He held her close, his eyes red–rimmed with desperate possessiveness. “Sera, I have abs, too. We mated. Don’t look at other men. Don’t leave me.”
She apologized profusely to calm him down.
Since then, she’d avoided looking at other men. Now, he was using the same trick on Chloe.
Emerging from the bathroom, she found Julian alone. On the table sat cut fruit and a steaming mug of ginger tea.
He offered it to her with a solicitous smile. “Your period is due soon. I made you some ginger tea. It’ll help.”
The hot tea couldn’t warm her, though. How could he be so good at acting? Fresh from another woman’s bed, he was flawlessly portraying the devoted mate.
The question gnawed at her, keeping her awake all night. Just as she was drifting off, Julian cried out in his sleep.
“Sera!”
He bolted upright, his lycan’s distress flooding through the bond. frantically searching for her. The next second, he pulled her into his
arms.
“Sera, don’t leave me!”
She stiffened.“What’s wrong?”
He was red–eyed with fear,.“I had a nightmare. I dreamt you left me. Thank God it was just a dream. You’re still here.”
She wanted to tell him the dream would soon come true.
Perhaps spurred by the dream, he insisted on taking her to work the next day. She tried to refuse, but he pleaded until she relented. his lycan was restless, and despite her protests, he didn’t back down.
As soon as they reached his office, she saw a display of her photographs on his desk. He hugged her from behind, nuzzling her neck. “So many women try to get close to me, and your photos cam keep them from harassing me. Don’t worry, sweetheart. Your mate is very faithful.”
She looked down at him, saying nothing.
His assistant knocked, reminding him of a meeting. He reluctantly released her, advising her to take a walk around.
She had no interest in walking around, but she didn’t want to stay in his office either. She wandered through the floors. Around noon, her phone rang. It was the immigration office.
“Luna Sera, about the pack transfer request, we need you to sign a document in person.”
Before she could respond, a familiar voice called out from behind.
“Park tranfer?!”
