Chapter 307
Chris and Jessica were sitting in the front.
Hearing the commotion between the other two, Chris felt a bit helpless.
They were all just stubborn adults.
“That kid Lando looked at Indya the same way Blake did,” Chris said to Jessica as he held her hand.
“It was understandable. Who wouldn’t like Indya? Well, of course–except for me.”

When he noticed Jessica’s gaze sweeping over him, Chris quickly added, “You’re not seriously going to get jealous over this too, are you?”
Jessica replied, “I’m not getting jealous.”
Chris said, “Indya is in charge of public relations, always looking so dazzling every day. A group of kids in their early 20s is bound to like such a radiant older woman.”
Jessica also knew in her heart.
When they had first tried to recruit Lando, no matter what price they offered, he had refused.
The last time they went to try again, it had been Indya who went.
They had all thought she would be turned away, but unexpectedly, she had come back with the signed contract that very day.
At the time, Jessica had suspected that perhaps Lando had taken a liking to Indya.
She hadn’t expected it to be true.
“These years, Indya never dated anyone. All she did was make money—or drink. It’s not a bad thing if someone likes her,” said Jessica, glancing back.
Blake was eating, and Indya sat beside him, holding a cup.
“This is good too. She should have more options. Even if I said I’d help Blake, I can’t actually make choices for Indya. She needs to meet more people, only then can she know what suits her best.”
“That’s true. But I didn’t meet anyone else before—I just met you,” said Chris.
By the time they landed, it was already evening.
They had booked the same hotel.
Felix and Natalie owned property there, so Felix took Natalie straight over.
“We’ll meet near the school, then,” Chris said to Felix at the door.
It wasn’t their first time in Lonat.

They were familiar with the place, so they didn’t need anyone to accompany them.

Felix said, “You’ve got a big group. Once you arrive at the hotel, plenty of people will notice. The tournament your team is joining is international. There’ll probably be many reporters at the hotel entrance. You should be careful not to let Aitairy find you too soon.”
Chris nodded. “The hotel I booked has an underground car park. We’ll go straight upstairs from there. I’ll call you tomorrow morning.”
“Alright.”
Since Natalie had decided to study abroad, Felix had bought property for him right near the school.
So Felix took Natalie there first.
“By the way, that person Ms. Wilder mentioned–did they come along this time?” asked Felix.
He had thought they would meet at the airport, but since everyone there was familiar, and he recognized each of them, clearly the candidate wasn’t among them.
Chris said, “That person said they’d already been in Lonat for some time. We’ll meet later. You don’t need to tell Natalie. It’s best if they meet naturally. If he knows we arranged it, he’ll just lose his temper.”
“I agree. That’s his temperament. Your little sister is the same,” said Felix.
Their group got into the car that had been arranged.
Shannon stayed with them.
Before getting in, Lando looked back and saw Indya standing together with Blake.
Everyone knew who Blake was.
Lando also knew that Indya was Blake’s publicist.
But wasn’t Indya supposed to be there with their team for the competition?
Why was she always with Blake?
“Why aren’t you getting in?” asked Shannon.
Lando pulled his gaze back and quietly asked her, “Is Blake also in Lonat for work?”
Shannon froze.
