Chapter 314
There wasn’t much about Indya, but there was news about Calum, which made Indya a little
flustered for a moment.
In fact, only very few people knew that Calum was Indya’s younger brother, and also his biological
brother.
Calum had met Jessica much earlier than Indya did.
That year, Calum had rebelled and run away from home, encountering Mrs. Wilder, claiming he had
no relatives.
Mrs. Wilder first arranged for Calum to settle at a school, and then began investigating his background.
Within a week, Mrs. Wilder had already traced him back to Indya’s family and was preparing to send
Calum back.
But no matter what, Calum refused to go back, insisting that he could learn more from Mrs. Wilder.
Later,
Mrs. Wilder personally went to his family to speak with his parents and allowed Calum to stay by her side.
As for Indya, she was only brought over after Jessica took over the Wilder Group.
Unexpectedly, both siblings ended up working for the same organization.
After a while, Indya continued, “It doesn’t matter to me. I’m just worried that if Anthony knows too much, could it cause trouble for Jessica?”
Shannon said, “Ever since Anthony returned to the country, every move he made has been under our surveillance. Do you think those files he had appeared out of nowhere?”
Indya immediately realized, “Michael met Anthony?”
If one were to find someone, it was indeed a bit strange.
Michael claimed to like Jessica and said that everything he did was only to get her to notice him again.
He even said he didn’t want to be an enemy but a friend.
Yet every step he took targeted the Wilder Group, which was not the action of a friend.
“He met him at a bar–a members–only bar. I guess Anthony was provoked; otherwise, he wouldn’t have agreed to help Michael so quickly. What threat did Anthony make to you?”
Indya rolled her eyes.

What else could it be but asking for another chance, even if they couldn’t be together, wanting to stay friends–Indya didn’t even want to listen.
From the moment Anthony started threatening her, Indya considered Anthony a stranger.
An enemy?
Anthony wasn’t even worthy of that.
“Alright, do as you see fit. I’ll send you Anthony’s files after I get back. You and Blake… actually, it’s pretty good. Blake has liked you for so long, and is finally able to date you. If Blake were an ordinary person, you should enjoy his pursuit more. But he’s a celebrity.”
Every action he took drew public attention, so it was better not to be too conspicuous.
After Shannon left, Indya wobbled over to close the door.
When she turned, Blake was behind him. Indya smiled and waved; Blake obediently stepped closer.
Indya draped his arms over Blake’s shoulders. “Were you eavesdropping?”
“I only just came out,” said Blake.
Indya snorted. “I knew you weren’t honest.”
She leaned her full weight against Blake, resting her chin on Blake’s shoulder her his voice soft and slurred from the drinking.
“You’re really cute.”
Jessica opened the door for that person and turned to leave.
Tristana stepped in and looked around, just in time to see Chris coming out of the bathroom after a
shower.
Chris, wearing a bathrobe, looked up to see Tristana staring at him, her eyes sparkling as if gossiping, and hurried back to change his clothes.
“I’ve already approached the target. Will I be protecting her for the next few years?”
Tristana showed no fear of Jessica at all.
She sat on the sofa and began picking fruit from the plate on her own initiative.
“That’s right.” Jessica took a sip of wine, leaning against the large dining table, staring at Tristana.
“Natalie’s parents both died at Aitairyi. The case hasn’t been solved yet. I’ve sent all the files to you.”
