Simon looked upset and was about to lose his temper, but Estelle suddenly grabbed his sleeve and shook her head at him.
Simon took a deep breath and pushed down his anger. In the end, he didn’t say anything and just watched Melanie leave.
Simon didn’t relax until Melanie completely left the MR Group chairman’s office.
As long as Melanie didn’t mess around, there was hope today.

“Not brave enough?” Davon sneered, “I think you’re pretty gutsy. Our chairman was willing to give your Rasmussen family a chance, that’s your good luck, but look at you, acting all high and mighty in front of our chairman.”

Simon wanted to explain, but Davon didn’t give him a chance at all, “Mr. Rasmussen is so capable, looks like you doesn’t need our MR Group’s project at all, you’d better find someone else.”
Davon said that and walked away without looking back.
Left Simon looking totally confused.
Simon stood there in a daze for quite a while before he went back to the office. Estelle hurried over and asked, “Simon, how did it go? When will the chairman of MR Group come to see us?”
Simon slumped in his chair, looking defeated.“No chance now.”
Estelle frowned, “What?”
“Davon said we kicked the chairman of MR Group out and would never work with us again.” Simon still didn’t get it–when did he ever kick the chairman of MR Group out?
Up until now, he hadn’t even met the chairman of MR Group.

Estelle also looked confused, “We kicked out the chairman of MR Group? When did that happen? Their chairman didn’t even come today, there was only…”
