Chapter 11
Frederick was unaware of his son’s little gestures. After preparing the barbecue ingredients, he called out to him and Shannon to start grilling, officially beginning their camping trip.
The three of them enjoyed a harmonious time together, and even Shannon’s pale face was tinged with a healthy blush.
Occasionally, passing tourists would see the trio and couldn’t help but remark, “This family of three is so good-look- ing, they really look happy together.”
Hearing these words, the three simply smiled, and none of them corrected or denied it.
Halfway through the meal, Shannon took out her phone, snapped a photo, and updated her Instagram.
“I hope this happy moment can last a little longer.”
After successfully posting the video, she took a screenshot and sent it privately to Abigail.
After sending it, Shannon put away her phone as if nothing had happened and continued camping with the father and
son.
Late at night, the three returned to their respective tents, planning to watch the sunrise before heading back to the city in the morning.
Before going to sleep, Timothy opened Instagram, but the post visible only to his mother was completely empty.
Abigail hadn’t liked or commented, and Timothy didn’t even know if she had seen it.
After washing up, Frederick entered the tent and saw his son’s furrowed little face. He asked, “What’s wrong?”
Timothy handed his phone to Frederick, saying, “Dad, you lied to me. Mom didn’t like my post at all.”
Frederick glanced at it, frowned, and deleted the post, speaking sternly.
“Didn’t we agree to keep this camping trip with Shannon a secret from Mom? Why did you post on Instagram?”
Only then did Timothy realize what he had done wrong. He lowered his head and replied softly, “I’m sorry, Dad. I just wanted Mom to pay attention to me.”
Frederick rubbed his brow and deleted all of Timothy’s Instagram posts from that day.
“Don’t do this again. Go to sleep. After we watch the sunrise tomorrow morning, we’ll go
back.”
Timothy obediently snuggled under the covers. Before closing his eyes, he spoke again, “Dad, when Mom comes back, let’s take her camping too.”
After saying that, he closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Chapter 11
Outside the tent, the sound of cicadas filled the air.
Frederick lay in the tent, once again opening his chat with Abigail, but she still hadn’t replied.
He spent a sleepless night.
The next day.
After getting up early to watch the sunrise, the three returned to the city.

Because they woke up so early, Timothy went back to his room to catch up on sleep after returning to Oceancrest Es-
tates.
Frederick also went to the study to deal with the work that had piled up over the past few days.
After finishing his work, Timothy had also woken up.
The two went to the dining room for lunch.
Timothy only took two bites before putting down his fork.
“Dad. I want to eat Mom’s cooking. When is Mom coming back?”
Frederick paused while picking up food. “Mom is busy. Focus on your studies. When she comes back, I’ll take you to pick her up.”
Hearing this. Timothy picked up his fork again and continued eating.
Frederick had originally been certain that Abigail would return soon, but as time passed, he began to feel uneasy.
Half a month went by, and there was no news from Abigail. All the messages sent to her disappeared without a trace.
He had also asked Abigail’s father, Edward Briggs, but Edward didn’t know where she had gone either.
The company was handed over to a professional manager.
Frederick finally couldn’t sit still and asked his assistant to investigate Abigail’s whereabouts.
But the assistant said Abigail had changed her name, her previous identity information had been canceled, and her whereabouts couldn’t be traced.
Frederick’s face grew cold as he instructed the assistant, “Hire a detective to keep searching. No matter what it takes, I want to know her exact location within three days.”
The assistant understood immediately. “Yes, I understand.”
This time, the assistant was very efficient.
It took only two days to find all of Abigail’s information under her new name and her current location.
“Mr. Kemp, I’ve found that Mrs. Kemp changed her name. She is now Abigail Knox and is currently in London.”

Frederick flipped through the information the assistant had found. When he saw the man standing next to Abigail in one of the photos, his eyes darkened.
“Book two tickets to London for tomorrow.”
The assistant replied, “Alright.”
Frederick requested leave for Timothy and took him along to London.
Timothy knew they were going to find his mother and couldn’t hide his excitement.
After landing, the two didn’t rest and went straight to Abigail’s current location, Speed Raceway.
Frederick led Timothy into the venue, looking around.
At that moment, a red motorcycle sped across the finish line, and the crowd erupted in cheers.
Amidst the cheers, the rider removed her helmet, revealing chestnut short hair and delicate, fair features.
It was Abigail.
Upon seeing this, Timothy immediately let go of Frederick’s hand and ran toward Abigail.
“Mom!”
