Bianca caught what the reporter had said and turned her gaze to the bottom of the painting, where the name was written. 

She never expected that Emily would have convinced the exhibition organizer to change the name back. 

She shouted excitedly. 

The commotion naturally drew the attention of the people nearby who were admiring other artworks, and they all turned to look. 

James frowned, not expecting such a major mistake at the exhibition. 

Of course, he thought it might have been intentional. 

He recalled the man who claimed to be Emily’s classmate. Could it be that Emily had already bribed him to do this?

James immediately berated Allan. 

Emily scoffed, “Why are you pretending to be a hero here? Isn’t it a bit too early?” 

“Emily, how did you become like this? No matter how tough things were, you never resorted to ‘stealing. How is this any different from theft? Change the name back and apologize to Bianca!” 

James seemed oblivious to any impropriety and continued to defend Bianca. 

Habit was a scary thing even though he had initially been suspicious! 

Bianca also spoke pitifully, “Emily, you can take any of my other paintings, but not this one. I poured my heart and soul into it.” 

She then turned to Allan, “As the person in charge, if you don’t correct this mistake and change the name back, and apologize to me, you’ll lose your reputation in this circle. Who would dare to display their paintings at your exhibitions?” 

She was putting Allan on the spot. 

Some of the more impressionable people began to agree, “Yeah, if this happens once, it can happen again. Change it back and apologize.” 

Bianca’s pitiful act and confident tone convinced many. 

Emily chuckled, “Bianca, you really are shameless. You can turn lies into truth. You say the painting is yours. Do you have any proof?” 

James immediately stood up, “I’m a witness!” 

“That’s rich, coming from a man who betrayed his fiancée and hooked up with her sister. Can your testimony be trusted?” Sophia couldn’t help but mock from the side.

James felt humiliated. He glared at Emily, “Are you really going to let your people slander me? You were the one who called off the engagement. Bianca and I got together after that.” 

“Emotional cheating is still cheating. Besides, you were engaged to Emily. Every time Bianca needed something, you abandoned your fiancée to help her.”

Someone, feeling indignant, scolded Allan, “This is too much. You’re a painter yourself, right? How would you feel if your painting was renamed and claimed by someone else?”

But she didn’t seem to notice that despite her “evidence,” neither Emily nor Allan looked the least bit worried. 

Emily smiled and finally spoke amid the accusations and doubts, “Allan got dragged into this because of me. But Bianca’s video only shows that she brought the painting. It doesn’t prove she painted it!” 

That was a valid point. 

Bianca saw the crowd starting to side with Emily again and quickly spoke up. 

“Emily, I’m being polite because you’re my sister. Don’t push it. I won’t let this impersonation go easily. I brought my painting here myself. If that doesn’t prove it’s mine, how can you prove it’s yours? Just because it has your name on it?” 

James also frowned, “If you keep being stubborn, you’ll only embarrass yourself!”
