Bianca grew more confident as she spoke.

Hayden went to Zephyria for business and was kidnapped. The kidnappers are demanding a huge ransom to release him.” 

“How much is the ransom?”

Kade continued to cooperate. 

Did Bianca expect the Smith family to pay? The Johnson family was dreaming. 

Bianca guessed what Kade was thinking from his words. 

She explained, “The ransom is one hundred million dollars. Mr. Smith might think the Johnson family can scrape together the money. W could, but we’re afraid that even if we pay, the kidnappers won’t release him and might even kill him.” 

“Just tell me what you want.” 

Bianca didn’t tell the truth. The Johnson family would struggle to come up with one hundred million dollars.

Bianca laughed bitterly. “Mr. Kade Smith, you know Emily won’t help after what happened between me and James. Can you talk to Mr. Daniel Smith and ask him to help?”

Even if he could persuade Daniel, he wouldn’t waste a favor on a woman like Bianca.

Bianca didn’t really want to offend Kade. She quickly nodded. ‘Mr. Smith, you’re joking. We had a pleasant conversation today. I wouldn’t do anything to harm our families relationship. I hope we can cooperate more in the future. I’ll take my leave now.” 

Bianca didn’t know much about Knox. She planned to ask Eli and Aiden about him. 

Kade saw her eagerness and felt even more disgusted, but he smiled. “It’s good you’re sensible. I’ll have a driver take you.” 

Thank you, Mr. Smith. Bianca thought accepting Kade’s kindness meant today’s matter was settled.
