Lucas noticed the hesitation on Desmond’s face and frowned. “What’s wrong with you? You look like you have something to say but can’t get it out.” 

“I don’t know if I should say it,” Desmond admitted. 

Lucas let out a cold scoff. “Don’t keep things bottled up. If you keep acting so hesitant, how do you expect to accomplish anything like that?” 

Desmond was speechless. 

So much for trying to be considerate-he’d only ended up being scolded for it. Was it wrong to care about his boss’ mood? 

In the end, Desmond gave up. 

He simply handed his phone to Lucas. “Sir, it’s not that I was hesitating. I just didn’t know how to bring this up to you.” 

He hadn’t expected Yvonne to be so bold, openly challenging Lucas’ authority online. 

Even though Lucas and Aurora hadn’t officially announced their relationship, everyone in their circle already knew about it. 

Clearly, Yvonne didn’t take it seriously at all. She must have no idea how important Aurora really was to him. 

Lucas took the phone and glanced through the video. His expression turned ice-cold. 

“When did Yvonne return to the country?” 

“Judging by the interview, she arrived in Bustin City this morning,” Desmond replied. 

“Bustin City?” Lucas sounded puzzled. 

He didn’t understand why Yvonne had come back but hadn’t gone straight to Ravenshore. 

Instead, she went to Bustin City. 

Desmond had already looked into it earlier, so he quickly explained. “Mr. Carter, I found out Miss Song went to Bustin City to appear on a reality show. She’s serving as one of the judges.” 

Hearing that, Lucas suddenly felt the coincidence was far too great. “That show wouldn’t happen to be…” 

He didn’t finish the sentence, but Desmond nodded in confirmation. 

“That’s right, the show is the same one Mrs. Carter is on.” 

Lucas fell silent. 

For a moment, he didn’t know what to say. He hadn’t expected so many coincidences to overlap like this. 

“Are you sure you’re not mistaken?”

Even now, he found it hard to believe. How could things line up so perfectly? How could they end up meeting so easily? 

If they really were on the same show, then he needed to get to Bustin City as soon as possible. 

Aurora had never met Yvonne before, and he couldn’t predict how things might go between them. 

And considering what Yvonne had said online, it definitely wasn’t pleasant. Knowing Aurora’s temper, Lucas had no idea what could happen if they crossed paths. 

It was better to take precautions in advance. 

“I’m absolutely sure,” Desmond replied. “At first, I didn’t believe it either. But after checking several times, I confirmed they’re definitely on the same show.” 

Although Desmond had been skeptical at first, by the time he told Lucas, his tone was calm. 

He had double-checked everything; there was no mistake. 

Even if he reported it, he wouldn’t be blamed for it because this time, he was absolutely certain. 

Once Lucas heard Desmond’s confirmation, he immediately stood up, grabbed his coat, and said, “Get the car ready. Take me to the airport. I’m flying to Bustin City now.”
