tonight.” 

Daniel’s attitude was sincere, and Emily realized it was her own overthinking. 

She quickly waved her hand, noticing Daniel still holding hers. 

Emily felt more embarrassed. 

Seeing her reaction, Daniel discreetly let go of her hand. 

Emily smiled, “No need for your help. I don’t have much stuff. I’ll pack quickly.”

Daniel saw her insistence, thought for a moment, and nodded, “Alright. You don’t need to prepare much. I’ll have everything ready at the villa. It’s late, get some rest. I’ll pick you up first thing in the morning,” 

Actually, there was no need to rush. 

But the sense of crisis Knox gave him was too strong. He felt the sooner they left, the better. 

Emily was unaware that Daniel was already so jealous that he was secretly competing with Knox. 

After seeing Daniel off, Emily went back to her room to pack her laptop and a couple of changes of clothes. 

She only brought one of her homemade moisturizers, as her natural beauty meant she didn’t need much else. 

The next morning, Emily informed Violette, Atticus, and Liam that she’d be away for a few days. 

Liam immediately clung to Emily’s leg, ‘Emily, I’ll miss you.” 

Emily knew he lacked a sense of security and was about to comfort him. 

Daniel had arrived to pick her up. 

He was well-liked by Liam, and seeing Liam’s reluctance, he suggested, “How about bringing Liam to the Smith Villa for a few days?” 

Having Liam around might even help their relationship. 

Emily didn’t know his true intentions and thought he was doing it for her.

He patted Liam’s head, “Liam, wait a couple of days, and I’ll come get you and Emily to stay together.” 

Liam, though reluctant, nodded obediently at Daniel’s sincere words.
