Chapter 210Â
Rivena POVÂ
The temple doors creaked open behind us, the last bit of moonlight spilling across the threshold like a blessing, and a goddamn spotlight. I was sweaty. My neck was bruised and glowing with our new mate mark. My lips swollen. And if I so much as looked at Druen sideways, I’d combust all over again.Â
“Well, Nyzari purred in my head, that escalated beautifully.”Â
“Shut up.” I muttered, my cheeks blazing as we stepped into the cool night air. I was vibrating. With power. With emotion. With… embarrassment.Â
Because, of course, the first people we saw as we crossed the courtyard were Elowen fucking Skye and her five drop dead gorgeous mates, deep in conversation with Luna Aelira, Alpha Draven, and, just kill me now, my parents.Â
The moment Elowen saw us, her eyes went wide. “Oh shit,” she whispered, elbowing Daxon. They all turned towards us and I felt my cheeks heat even more.Â
Hells.Â
Alpha King Draven looked up from whatever he was saying to my father, and stopped mid sentence. My mom blinked at me like I’d grown a second head. OrÂ
a halo. Or both.Â
Druen didn’t even flinch. His fingers tightened around mine as he pulled me forward with that same unshakable steadiness that had shattered every wall I’d spent nineteen years building. He stood tall and proud, that massive chest of his rising like a mountain ready to make an announcement.Â
“I bring news,” he said, his voice steady and deep. Everyone froze. Druen cleared his throat and squared his shoulders. “The Moon Goddess has awakened the lycan bloodline within me. I now stand fully transformed, bonded and mated to Princess Rivena Darkfang beneath her divine gaze.”Â
You could’ve heard a fucking snowflake land. My mom gasped. My dad took a step forward, his golden eyes wide. “You what?”Â
“It’s true,” I said, lifting my chin and forcing my voice not to wobble. “We bonded. We shifted. The Moon Goddess herself… she was there. She chose us.”Â
“Say it with your chest,” Nyzari whispered, her deep, powerful voice rumbling like distant thunder in my mind. “You were not chosen by accident. You areÂ
moonborn.”Â
Elowen practically burst with excitement. “HOLY SHIT, DRUEN! That’s amazing!” She bounded forward and threw her arms around him. “You’re off duty. NoÂ
more strike team unless you want it. Go live your bonded life.”Â
“I only want to be where Rivena is now,” he said, looking at me like I hung the fucking moon. Gods help me, I almost melted into a puddle.Â
My father, Alpha King Garron, stepped forward and clasped Druen’s shoulder with surprising warmth. “You are welcome among the lycan ranks from this moment forward. We will train you to fight in your new form, and I expect you to take your place as a protector of my daughter, and our people.”Â
Druen bowed deeply. “It would be my honor, Alpha King.”Â
My mother let out a choked sob and suddenly I was pulled into her arms, being hugged so tight I couldn’t breathe.Â
“I’m so proud of you,” she whispered into my hair. “The Goddess herself. My baby girl…”Â
“Not a baby anymore,” Nyzari hummed, “but damn, this is nice.’Â
I just nodded against her shoulder, biting my lip to keep from crying. My throat burned with all the things I couldn’t say, how scared I’d been, how not ready I’d felt, how every single thing I thought I knew had changed the moment Druen touched me. But this? This was right. This was home.Â

Chapter 210Â
Druen was my anchor now. My chaos. My calm. My fucking match. And as 1 stepped back, took his hand again, and met my father’s approving nod… I realized something. I wasn’t just the Princess anymore. I was a goddess blessed lycan warrior, and this was only the beginning.Â
I hadn’t even caught my damn breath from the whole “divine lycan bonding in the temple” situation before the chaos started swirling again.Â

Druen hadn’t left my side, which, honestly, was probably the only reason I wasn’t currently hiding under a table with a bottle of wine and a therapy crystal.Â
We stood in the courtyard, surrounded by my parents, Alpha Draven and Luna Aelira, King Halrik, Queen Nira, and Elowen… and all five of her ridiculouslyÂ
fine mates.Â
And I mean fine. Like, inappropriate for family dinner levels of fine. Elowen was staring at me like she knew something. Like she always knew something. IÂ
hated that.Â
I crossed my arms. “Alright, since everyone’s staring like I grew a second set of tits, I might as well say it.”Â
Elowen snorted into her hand. “Oh this is gonna be good.”Â
