On the way, people began whispering comparisons between Yvonne and Aurora. 

Some discussed Yvonne’s hairstyle, others commented on Aurora’s. 

A few even started comparing their achievements in the business world, as if they had nothing better to do. 

“Who do you think is more beautiful between the two?” 

“I think it’s Aurora. Her features are so delicate and refined.” 

“I’d say Yvonne. Her looks are striking and mature. You can tell she’s been through a lot.” 

“What kind of comment is that? You make her sound old!” 

“Still, I think Aurora doesn’t have that sense of experience. She’s pretty, but I prefer someone with more depth, like Yvonne.” 

“Oh, please. I think Aurora’s elegant and polished beauty suits me better.” 

The group went on debating endlessly. 

But Megan overheard their conversation. 

She suddenly appeared behind them, her tone icy. “What exactly are you all talking about?” 

Her voice startled everyone. 

They quickly snapped out of it and turned around to face her, awkward smiles plastered on their faces. 

“Miss Quinn, you startled us. What’s wrong?” 

“What’s wrong with me? Shouldn’t it be none of your business? What exactly are you all gossiping about here. Is that part of your job description?” 

“We were just chatting casually,” they mumbled, trying to brush it off. 

After all, the director of this show was notorious for hating people who gossiped behind others’ backs. 

If he found out, they’d be kicked out of the crew immediately. 

But this production was one of the best-paying in the industry. 

The director treated his staff well and never docked their pay unfairly. As long as they did their work properly,

That was why everyone wanted to stay on this team. 

“Just chatting, huh? You were already gossiping about other people. Do you even realize what you’re doing?” 

Megan’s eyes turned icy. “What does comparing two people’s looks have to do with you anyway? If you care so much about appearances, why don’t you open your front camera and take a good look at yourselves?” 

The group fell silent. 

They hadn’t expected Megan to be this sharp-tongued. 

Her words hit hard, without the slightest concern for how they might feel. 

But then again, when they were gossiping behind others’ backs, had they cared about anyone’s feelings? 

Besides, everyone knew there was tension between Aurora and Yvonne. Talking like this would only fuel more rumors and misunderstandings. 

Megan made her point clear. 

“When you say things like that, have you ever stopped to think how others might feel?” 

She let out a cold snort. “Gossiping behind people’s backs won’t get you anywhere. Instead of wasting time on that, maybe think about how you’re going to earn more money in the future.”
