Chapter 1545

That was exactly what Yvonne was thinking, and she had no problem saying it out loud.

“Miss Walton, don’t forget, we’re still on camera. I’m your judge here. Did it not cross your mind what might happen if you talk back to me?”

She gave a cold laugh. “Everyone’s watching, and it’s obvious this house is better suited for a vintage style. The concept you proposed is completely unreasonable. I’m pointing out your mistake, and you still have a problem with that?”

The tension between them was impossible to miss. Everyone on set could feel it.

Even the director immediately sensed something was off. He almost called for a break until he noticed the live viewer count skyrocketing.

The clash between Aurora and Yvonne was driving the numbers up fast.

The show’s opening ratings had been decent, better than most, but still below what he’d hoped for.

With Aurora’s presence and Yvonne’s status as a powerhouse in the design world, he’d expected more.

Now, after just one heated exchange, the live audience had spiked by nearly a million viewers.

The director’s pulse quickened; he could barely hide his excitement. His hands trembled slightly as he resisted the urge to intervene.

This confrontation was perfect for the show-it brought drama, conflict, and energy.

The tension between the two women had reached a breaking point, and the numbers kept climbing.

Several crew members glanced at the director, silently asking if they should step in, but he ignored them.

He knew Aurora could hold her own against Yvonne, and Yvonne’s expertise gave her credibility. This was the kind of on-screen friction audiences loved.

Sure enough, the viewership continued to soar, and the live chat exploded with debate-viewers arguing over which renovation plan suited the old house better.

The comment section was a battlefield: some defended Aurora, others sided with Yvonne, while a few criticized both designs.

From start to finish, the discussion stayed locked on the project itself, the audience completely absorbed by the clash of ideas.

Even the hired trolls from rival studios, who had shown up earlier to stir trouble, had completely vanished from the chat.

Seeing that, the director couldn’t help but feel a surge of emotion.

At first, he hadn’t expected much-he just thought having Yvonne and Aurora on the same show might boost ratings a little.

The show was live, after all, and live audiences were unpredictable. But now, the number of viewers far

exceeded anything he’d imagined.

They’d hit their target effortlessly and even surpassed it.

Watching the numbers climb, the director could barely contain his excitement.

Back on set, Aurora’s competitive spirit had kicked in. Megan stood nearby, nervously watching and silently sweating for her.

The two women’s discussion had gone so deep into design theory that Megan could hardly keep up anymore; she didn’t even understand half of what they were saying.

Finally, Aurora stepped up to the table, grabbed a marker, and in a few quick, confident strokes sketched out a design concept.

She wrote her design principles alongside it, explaining her reasoning in clear, precise notes.

Then she pinned the draft on the display board so everyone, both in the room and watching the live stream, could see it.

She began explaining, one step at a time, why she had chosen that specific theme for the renovation of the old house.
