Edwina saw that the underground third level was the VIP private room area of Dark Club. It was much quieter than the first and second floors. 

However, the soundproofing was poor. The moment they stepped closer, all kinds of obscene and filthy sounds poured out openly, full of reckless indulgence. 

Edwina turned her head away in disgust and felt that her ears had been seriously polluted. 

Hearing those chaotic sounds, Pauline grew even more nervous. She clutched Edwina’s sleeve tightly. “Madeline, Madeline, nothing really happened to her, right?” 

Pauline cried as she spoke. “That girl is so stubborn. Even if it was for Maberly Fashion, she shouldn’t have sacrificed herself like this.” 

Edwina patted Pauline on the shoulder. “Don’t panic yet. If something really happened to Madeline, I would personally skin those useless Design Harmony trash alive.” 

Edwina and Pauline ran all the way to the end of the third floor and found Room 67. 

Pauline pushed the door hard, but it wouldn’t budge. Faint crying could be heard from inside. 

Pauline yelled, “That’s Madeline’s voice. She is inside. 

“Otis, you bastard, open the door right now, or I am calling the police. If you dare touch Madeline, I will never let you go.” 

The people inside clearly heard the noise outside, yet they remained fearless. 

Otis snorted. “Pauline, you old woman, get lost somewhere else. Do you really think I am afraid of you? A tiny person in charge of Maberly Fashion thinks she can challenge me? 

“With one phone call, I can make sure you never find a job in Grindel City again. And Maberly Fashion will disappear from the market with you.” 

Madeline’s crying grew more desperate. “Let go of me. Pauline, save me, please save me.” 

Pauline was so anxious that she slammed her body against the door, but it still didn’t move at all. 

Otis’s words lit a layer of anger in Edwina’s eyes. Still, she stayed calm and said, “Stop crashing into it. They locked the door from inside.” 

Pauline said, “By the time the police arrive, it’ll be too late. I will go find the Dark Club manager and ask them to open it.” 

Before Edwina could stop her, Pauline had already run off. 

Edwina thought, ‘If Dark Club dares to set up rooms like this, it means they allowed this kind of thing to exist. How can a manager offend a VIP client for an unrelated woman? Looking for help will be pointless! 

Then Edwina removed the thin black hairpin from her hair and straightened it. She crouched down and slid the pin into the lock. 

She pressed her ear to the door and listened carefully to the mechanism inside the lock. 

The sound of gears turning and fitting together followed, and the door opened smoothly. 

Edwina strode inside. There were three men and one woman inside. The air was thick with alcohol and cigarette smoke.

Madeline was pinned down on the sofa by a heavy body. Her suit jacket had been stripped off, and most of the buttons on her shirt had been torn open. 

Two men stood nearby, staring greedily, rubbing their hands together, their faces filled with disgusting lust. 

The three men never expected the locked door to be opened. They all turned to look at Edwina and froze. 

Otis was especially stunned by Edwina’s beautiful face. He thought, ‘Damn. Her figure and looks are far better than Madeline’s, an absolute knockout. 

“You came with Pauline? You are also from Maberly Fashion?” Os nearly drooled, his face full of impatience. 

Edwina’s expression turned even darker. She couldn’t understand how a horny piece of trash like Otis had become a factory director at Design Harmony. 

Since Design Harmony was now Edwina’s company, there was no way she would tolerate dirt in her sight. 

Meanwhile, Madeline seized the chance to escape from under Ois. With tear filled eyes, she clutched her clothes tightly and hid behind Edwina in a miserable state. 

Madeline was new to the field and only wanted to help Maberly Fashion secure a partnership. She never imagined something like this would happen. If Pauline and Edwina had arrived any later, she truly would not have survived it. 

Otis didn’t care that Madeline got away. There was now someone even better delivered to his door. 

He flicked his belt and pointed at Edwina. “Looks like Pauline knows how to behave. Since you are from Maberly Fashion, come over and serve me too. 

“If you make me happy, I’ll naturally help you finish those production orders. machines is nothing but a word from me.”

From his words, it was clear that Otis never planned to let Design Harmony officially cooperate with Maberly Fashion. He only wanted to pocket the extra money himself.

Otis grabbed Edwina’s arm and took a deep breath against her. “You smell amazing, baby. That must be your natural scent.

Otis’s hand moved lower, about to cross the line. Edwina lifted her leg, ready to cripple all three men right there. 

Since they refused to act like humans, they didn’t deserve to be men. 

Just as she was about to strike, Edwina caught sight of a familiar tall figure in the doorway from the corner of her eye. ‘Him? Why’s Kelvin here?‘ 

Immediately, Edwina pulled back her movement. ‘I can’t let this man discover that I know martial skills. The more I expose, the more trouble I will face.‘ 

Kelvin had planned to leave Dark Club, but he happened to run into Pauline rushing up from downstairs in panic. Because of Edwina, Kelvin remembered Pauline. 

After asking what happened, Kelvin learned that Edwina was in trouble and followed her without hesitation. 

“What Fuck.” It was the first time anyone there had heard Kelvin curse. Everyone was shocked.

Kelvin crossed the distance in a few strides, yanked Edwina back and punched Otis square in the face,

Otis spun in place a few times before crashing face first onto the marble table. He spat out a mouthful of blood and snarled, “Who are you? How dare you hit me?” 

Kelvin never appeared in interviews, and his private events weren’t something Otis’s level could ever attend. Naturally, Ons didn’t recognize him. 

Kelvin grabbed his collar with near savage force and slammed his head hard against the table again. Otis screamed again and again. The two men who came with him didn’t even dare watch. They scrambled out of the room in panic. 

Otis was ruthless himself. Even with his head covered in blood, be kept cursing, “If you don’t kill me today, I will ruin your 

woman.” 

“Fine. I will grant your wish.” Kelvin smashed a bottle, grabbed the broken glass, and stabbed it straight toward Otis’s neck 

Pauline and Madeline screamed at the same time. ‘Who would have thought that the usually refined Mr. Gibson could be this terrifying when he snapped?‘ 

When the glass was only a few millimeters from Otis’s neck, Edwina rushed forward and grabbed Kelvin’s arm at lightning speed. 

She said, “Don’t make this a murder scene here. Beating him up is enough.” 

Edwina said that out loud, but her thoughts were different. 

She thought, ‘If he’s killed, how am I supposed to lure out the real big fish behind Design Harmony?” 

Edwina didn’t believe a mere factory director would dare act this recklessly on his own. There had to be someone else backing him. 

In the end, Otis survived, but the table beneath him was soaked in a large wet stain with a sharp stench. He had been scared out of his mind and had wet himself.
