She looked in disbelief, “I’m sorry what?”

“No. I called him this morning and told him I didn’t. I knew after spending the evening and morning with Gulliver, I wanted to see if we can get back to what we had.”

“Prison but he doesn’t know that so keep your mouth shut.” January felt strangely protective of her new friend and Kaylee’s best friend. “That little boy is Kaylee’s best friend.”
“He will be her cousin.”

“Can you at least let him approach us? He’s shy as hell, incredibly introverted.”

“This is worse than when Gulliver saw you the first ti school. He had your entire life mapped out in thirty seconds,” Thisbe giggled.
“Hi January,” Ernst cleared his throat. “Are you sure we’re not intruding?”
“Did you see how excited Kaylee is? She’s thrilled you are here with Darwin. Come closer and I’ll introduce you to everyone.” She took him by the bicep and noted both Raptis men glaring at her hand on his arm. She rolled her eyes. “Ernst this is Gulliver Raptis, Kaylee’s dad.”
“And her husband.”
“You were never legally married.” Ernst said seriously.
“I said the vows and I meant them.”
“I’m sure she did to and look how that panned out for her.”
“Oh, I like him.” Thisbe giggled. She stepped forward and extended her hand, “I’m Thisbe Crane Raptis.”
“The sister who betrayed her best friend.” Ernst took her hand and called Thisbe out.
