KEITH’S POV 

Hey, Diana,” I said to her. My arms opened for her and hugged her briefly before kissing her on the lips. 

“You didn’t have to wait for me,” I told her. I had already informed her I would stopping by Jasmines house. 

“I was worried about you,” she responded. 

“Did anything happen? Did she try to do something to you?” 

“No, nothing happened. It was strange interaction to be honest. she’s just been acting strange lately,” I told Diana. 

“Yes, Jasmine has been behaving weirdly for a while now,” Diana responded. “Come let’s have dinner and talk. Marco’s already in bed.” 

We then then went to have dinner and I told Diana about Jasmine refusing the allowance and the maids. After dinner we prepared for bed. The whole time I kept thinking about my interaction with Jasmine. I was still trying to make sense of her. Whilst I felt my theory about the reason her actions was the one that made the most sense, I also felt I was missing something. I would have to wait to see how things panned out. 

“.,,Keith are you listening to me?” Diana brought me out of my thoughts. I looked at her. 

“Sorry honey were you saying something?” I asked her. 

I was already lying on the bed and she was seated beside me. 

“I was just wondering what’s got you so distracted,” she asked me. “You’ve been in and out of it tonight.” She told me. 

“Sorry it’s just something about work that’s on my mind,” I lied. 

Then suddenly her lips came crashing into mine and she passionately kissed me. My eyes widened in surprise. 

“Guess I’ll have to help you clear your mind,” she said. 

I wasn’t sure what had suddenly got into her but no matter. I wrapped my arms around

her and we continued kissing and brought her down down to the bed with me. 

DIANA POV 

I couldn’t believe Keith was visiting Jasmine’s house just like that. 

It was around the afternoon on Monday after the Acland event when Keith sent me a text saying out he was going to see Jasmine at her house this evening and be late to come home. I was surprised by this. Why was he suddenly going to see her and on top of that at her house! I knew he was supposed to see her but I thought it would be in his office as he had informed me during the weekend. So why was he suddenly going to her place now? 

I sent him a text asking him why he was going to her place, he responded the meeting he was supposed to have in the morning didn’t go as planned. I almost had a heart 

attack. 

I’d never had to worry about Keith actually caring about Jasmine and her living circumstances so I was shocked by this. 

Not long after receiving the text I rushed to have all of Jasmine’s servants sent back to her house so they could clean in time for his arrival. They had to clean her house, pay for the electric and water bill. They also had to plant all the luxury items I claimed she bought all over her house. 

I sighed in frustration. I had already had to work so hard these past few days! Keith asked for a report on how Jasmine used her allowance. I had to quickly cook up a document on how she had made several purchases at luxury stores finishing her 

money. 

As I let out a tired sigh I wondered if this had been Jasmine’s plan all along? From Keith’s response that the meeting he was was supposed to have with her in his office didn’t follow through so he was going to see her at her home instead. That couldn’t be a coincidence. That stupid bitch was hoping I’d be found out! 

Here I thought she had stopped trying to see Keith with her obsessive visits because she understood her place. Had she been deliberately acting this way to get Keith’s attention? What had happened to her self sabotaging? I should have known better. That bitch was obviously desperate to make her son Keith’s heir. She wasn’t going to give up so easily. Fair play to her she’d found a way to draw his attention but I don’t suppose she expects me to be fast enough to cover my tracks. I would have to stop her. I wouldn’t lose to her.

“Ma’am, we wanted to inform you that we’ve arrived at Ms Towers home. She isn’t there. The water and power is already on and the house is already clean. I read the text from one of the maids. I had them text me so they could update me on how things were going at Jasmine’s house. 

“What do you mean?” I texted back in confusion. 

“The house is already cleaned we didn’t have to do much aside from planting the shopping bags you organised,” the text said. 

How could the house already be clean!? Had Jasmine hired someone to do it? No there was no way she could afford it. The 1,000 I gave her wasn’t enough for that. The power and water she could afford that though. So how was she able to clean the house? Did she do it herself? It was the only other option. It was hard to believe though. She knew how to clean? A woman that been raised in luxury all her life?on top of that she was also working. 

No matter how she did it. It was convenient for me since the maids to do other things. 

With so little time to methodically prepare everything I had been worried that something would slip. Jasmine had just saved the maids a lot of time. Though if her point was to get Keith to find out how I was treating her wouldn’t it be better for her to leave everything in the worst state? Within an hour the maids said everything was ready for Keith’s arrival. 

I then received the text that Keith had arrived at her home. Then I another text a little while later about Jasmine’s arrival. Now I just had to wait for her to shoot herself in the foot as she always did and things could go back to normal afterward.
