27 Not familiar with Jasmine 

DIANA POVO 

Obviously Jasmine would try to tell Keith the truth about what I was doing to her. I had instructed all the servants to lie and say they had all been working there all along if she did. Everyone was to act normal as if they had always been working there. And about the luxury goods, they were supposed to say they saw her come home with the shopping bags and stack all them all around the house. I had my “evidence” ready to make her look crazy when she tried to refute. 

Whatever plan she’d hatched to get him to visit her that ended today. That bitch would learn that she couldn’t win against me no matter what new methods she tried. 

About half an hour later I got the first text from the one of the maids at the house about what happened. 

“Ma’am, Mr Acland is now leaving the house we’re leaving the house as well.” The text 

read. 

“Wait a little while you can’t leave as he’s leaving. You’ll be found out.” I texted the 

servant back. 

“No, ma’am, I meant he ordered us to leave. Ms Towers requested that all the maids leave her home. she said she doesn’t need maids any more. She also asked to stop receiving her allowance.” 

“What? I replied. I was in utter disbelief at what I was reading. 

What happened when she tried to bring up the fact that she doesn’t receive her allowance and doesn’t have maids to the chairman? 

From what we overheard she didn’t bring up the subject at all. 

What do you mean she didn’t bring any of it up? That literally made no sense! 

I’m sure Keith confronted her about her allowance she should have tried to deny it all and say she had been set up by me. 

I don’t know why ma’am but she didn’t deny or bring up the accusations and instead requested for all the workers for the house to leave. 

I looked at the text for a good minute before I just simply replied with an ‘Okay‘.

27 Not familiar with Jasmine 

I didn’t know what else to say. 

I’m not going to lie I was nervous as I waited for Keith to arrive home. According to the maids What Jasmine had done made absolutely no sense. The maids assured me I was safe and that Keith suspected nothing. However, the fact that Jasmine had behaved in a way I hadn’t expected was a little unsettling. What the hell was that woman doing? 

I had my head maid have Marco eat and go to bed in the meantime. When Keith arrived I went to greet him by the mansion entrance. 

“Hey, Diana,” he greeted me. I went to him and we hugged and kissed. 

“You didn’t have to wait for me,” he told me. 

“I was worried. Did anything happen? Did she try to do something to you?” I asked him. 

“No, nothing happened. It was strange interaction to be honest. 

“she’s just been acting weird lately,” I told Diana. 

“Yes, Jasmine has been behaving weirdly for a while now,” I responded. “Come let’s have dinner and talk. Marco’s already in bed.” 

We then walked together as we went to have dinner. 

As we ate, he told me the details of his conversation with Jasmine. I was surprised by the full details. Like the maids had told me Jasmine really didn’t try to prove her 

innocence or try to bring up everything I had done to her. 

What’s made me uncomfortable was Keith’s reaction to . He was surprised by her actions Throughout dinner he had this perplexed look on his face as he evidently looked like he was deep in thought about something. That something being Jasmine. 

That is not how he should be reacting to her. 

This wasn’t the repulsed and angry expression he typically had after talking to her that let me know that he would distance himself from her even more. Aside from confusion his expression showed interest. 

I bit my lip in annoyance.

I came out of the bathroom after I was done preparing for bed. I found Keith seated in bed.

27 Not familiar with Jasmine

“I didn’t keep you waiting long did I?” I asked. However, he didn’t respond. 

“Keith,” I called out his name. Still no response. I then went to his side on the bed and 

sat beside him. 

“Keith!” I repeated myself. His attention then turned to me in surprise. 

“Sorry, did you say something?” He asked me once I’d pulled him out of my thoughts. 

“I’m just wondering why you’ve been in and out of it this evening,” I pointed out to him in annoyance. 

“Sorry, it’s just something about work that’s bothering me,” he said. 

I knew he was lying. He was still thinking about Jasmine wasn’t he? How annoying. 

I got closer to him and crashed my lips into his. 

“Let me help you take it off your mind then,” I said to him when I pulled away. 

His arms then wrapped around me and he pulled me into the bed and continued kissing me. I couldn’t have him thinking about Jasmine, another woman, in front of me. I wouldn’t allow it. I was feeling nervous now. 

What the hell had gone on during their conversation for him to be acting like this? Rather than pushing Keith away from her it seemed she had only piquing his interest. I mean the situation had escalated at first she got him wanting to see her again to making him go to her house. 

Was this all part of Jasmine’s plan? On the surface it seemed like she was retracting but the effects of her actions were saying otherwise. 

She’s always been predictable I could get ahead of her but now I wasn’t sure anymore. I wasn’t familiar with this Jasmine. I didn’t like this feeling of not being in control. I came into this knowing how to have both Keith and Jasmine under my thumb. I couldn’t allow her to do as she pleased. I had to stop her before she could turn the tables. To get ahead of her I would have to watch her more closely.
