From the aura emanating from Jasmine, I could tell our conversation wasn’t going to be friendly. I didn’t want us to make a scene in front of the kids so it would be best if we took this somewhere else. A grin appeared on my face as I anticipated what she was about to say to me. 

“Jasmine, you made it,” I said to her. 

“Keith what the f*ck are you doing?!” she started. Here we go, I said to myself and looked down at her.

JASMINE’S POV 

“Was it a blonde woman who took him?” I asked Darren Tony’s bodyguard as we stood by the top floor reception area. I was so scared to hear the answer. 

“No ma’am, it’s the young masters father. He is the one who took him,” Darren explained. 

My eyebrows shot up 

“You mean he went himself to pick Tony up?” I asked him. 

“Yes ma’am.” Darren replied. 

This was shocking to me. Keith had never ever picked up Tony himself he always had drivers. 

What on earth had compelled to pick him up today? That man who acted as if he didn’t even know of Anthony’s existence. 

“He told me to tell you he’s taking the young master to the Riverside resort and that you can find them there.” 

My eyebrows raised even more, was this man trying to get a rise out of me? Was he trying to piss me off? It seemed he was trying to draw me out to see him. 

“Take me to him,” I told Darren. 

“Yes, ma’am,” he said. 

I turned to Ms Deepak seated behind the desk. “Tell Mr Carrington I had to leave due

to an emergency.” 

“Yes, Ms Towers,” she accepted. Immediately, we went down in the elevator on the floor we were net by Henry and Kyle who came along. 

As we made our way Louis then called me. I picked up the call. “Jas, ine 

“It’s fine. But do need backup or anything? I can come if you want.” 

“I’ll have Darren, Kyle and Henry with me,” I told him. 

Upon arriving at the resort I went to the reception where they told me that Keith was expecting me and waiting for me at the go–karting section of the of the resort. 

I immediately made my way there. Upon arriving I found Keith heading towards me. 

“What the fuck is wrong with you Keith!?” I snapped at him. 

“Hello, to you too,” he said to me. 

“Where is my son?” I demanded him. 

I looked ahead and saw the go–karting area ahead and where two karts were on the track raving. “I’m taking him now,” I told him as went past him and made to enter the go cart ring. 

Keith stood in front me blocking, my way. 

“Calm down Jasmine,” he said as he held his arms to stop me. 

“Calm down?!” I said to him hysterically and. “You take my son without telling me and expect me to be calm?” 

“He’s my son too,” he told me. 

“Oh, is he now? When did you suddenly remember that?” I asked him sarcastically. “I don’t know what game you’re playing but it’s not funny. Let me take 

“Jasmine, I’m not playing a game, he’s fine,” he tried to assure me. 

“Where is Diana?” I asked him. 

“She’s not here. It’s just me and the boys. Plus/he’s in the middle of enjoying himself on the go–karts. If you take him now you’ll ruin his fun.” 

I was relieved to hear that Diana wasn’t around but I had to take Tony now. “I don’t care Keith.” I went last

I saw you went ahead and requested a contested divorce. However, I want us to have joint custody of Anthony those are the terms I’ll agree to in our divorce,” he said. 

I stopped in my tracks and turned back to face him. My expression changed to one of shock. “Are you joking?” 

“Im serious Jasmine I want joint custody,” he stated once more. 

“like hell you are. I won’t allow it,” I told him. 

“You can’t stop me from seeing our son, Jasmine,” he said. 

“This isn’t a game, Keith. This is our son. Do you have any idea how you’ve our son feel all this time!?” I yelled at him. “You pretend he doesn’t exist and then you suddenly want to pop back into his life. You are such a cruel man,” I said to him. 

His eyes searched mine for a second. “Alright, fine I admit I could have tried to be around him more often but I want to change that now.” he said. 

I shook my head at him in disappointed. “I don’t want my son anywhere near you or that woman,” I sternly said to him. 

“Again I can’t stop me from seeing our son, Jasmine,” he said to me. 

“I will sue you to hell and back if I have to Keith. I won’t let you get near him not with you living with her,” I told him. 

“You’re not even afraid to hide your jealousy of Diana,” he commented. 

“I don’t care what you think of me, Keith. I don’t want you two near him,” I told him. 

“Jasmine we both know you can’t win against me,” he told him. “I will win in court if I asked for joint custody.” 

My eyes widened at his statement. Was he threatening me? 

“Why are you doing this, Keith?” I then asked him in disbelief. “You never cared about Tony before In my past life he was quick to discard me and Tony but now he just kept being so persistent. 

“I told you I want to still be a part of Anthony’s life,” he claimed, “You seem all too ready to forget me since you have new job as an executive assistant.” 

“What, are you stalking me?” I asked him surprised he was keeping up with my life. 

“I’m just worried about you and Anthony, you know I’ve always wanted to help you

and Tony. It’s why despite our differences I gave you a house, wanted to give you alimony, I just want to help.” 

“Worry about yourself Keith,” I told him. “Im taking my son now and you’re not going to stop me.” I told him as I flashed him a dark look. 

“Jasmine, wait, we don’t have to be so hostile toward one another,” he then said cha. 

“You’re the one who’s making threats to fight me in court for our son,” I told him as I continued walking.
