JASMINE’S POV
After Tony and I were done getting ready we left our apartment with Louis for the museum. Upon arriving we got looking at the modern art on display in the new exhibition.
“You know a friend of my father owns this place,” Louis I formed me as we made our
rounds.
“Really?” I asked. “Well no wonder you knew about this new exhibit.”
Because it was a modern art museum with interactive art on display, visitors could take pictures with the art. I went to town with my camera taking tonnes of photos of Tony, Louis and I.
It got to a point where I was sure they were tired.
“Let’s take a picture here,” I then told Tony and Louis having found the next spot I wanted to harass them at but then noticed Louis wasn’t with Tony and I.
I search around the area and found him trailing behind us. He was on his phone and he was staring at rather intensely. A troubled expression was on his face and I wondered what he was looking at.
“Is everything okay? I asked him.
He looked up at me in surprise. “Yeah, sorry. Just looking at some emails,” he told me and joined Tony and I.
“Okay…” I responded. Though I felt like there was something bothering him.
Once we were done with the exhibition around early evening Louis took us to a restaurant for dinner. And after dinner we made our way home.
When the car came to a stop I looked out the window and noticed something odd as I liked at the apartment building we were parked in front of.
“We are at your apartment building,” I asked him.
“You can go home tomorrow, right?” he said casually, a mischievous grin on his face.
“Right…” I said as I cocked my eyebrows at him.

“Itll make it easier for Tony and I to have our boxing lessons tomorrow,” he said. “And yours.” he said.
“Yay!” Tony celebrated excitedly.
I didn’t mind at all both our apartments were in the city but Louis should learn to lie better. We went up to his apartment.
Tony and me would be resting in our old bedrooms once again.
With Tony feeling tired I took him to bed. Louis had clothes, pyjamas and toiletries prepared for us. My eyebrow cocked as I realized Louis had planned for us to come home with him from the beginning.
“Mum?” he called me as he tucked himself in his blankets.
“Yes,” I responded.
“Even though I did have fun with dad on Friday, I still have way more fun with you and Louis,” he told me. “You two have been spending a lot of time with me. Plus Dad, always makes you mad.”
My eyes widened surprised by the sudden confession.
“Tony,” I said then said as I brought my hand to his hair and ruffled through it. A wide smile then appeared on my face.
I had been worried about making Tony feel like he had to take sides between Keith and me but it seems he understood my feelings perfectly and also felt the same way.
“Come here,” I said as I pulled him and hugged him.
“I’m going to have you change schools by the way,” I then informed him.
“If this is about the bullying I’m fine mum, no one’s hurting me anymore,” he told me.
“Its not about that. It’s about Diana and Marco,” I explained. “I’m worried something might happen. Diana doesn’t like us and might try something.”
His eyes searched mine for a moment. “Okay,” he finally agreed his eyes looked as he understood the urgency of the situation.
I left the room feeling relieved.
I made myself a cup of tea and went to the balcony. Leaning against the railing I looked at the city below.

My mind was racing. I knew why I couldn’t let Keith get full custody but how could I convince the courts of that? With no evidence of Diana’s crimes I was going to have a hard time trying to convince them that it was unsafe for Tony to be around Keith. Not to mention Keith had more money and power than me he could easily fight for joint custody with my lack of evidence.
I let out a tired sigh. I needed actual evidence that Diana was dangerous and a threat to me and Tony.
I had to lock in and start to do more than I was doing.
Going into this second life 3 months ago, I thought all I had to do was stay away from Diana and Keith and they would pay me no mind. However, that clearly wasn’t the
outcome.
I had wrongly assumed that all Diana and Keith wanted was for me to leave them alone. Things weren’t going to be so easy, unfortunately. If I continued to ignore Diana and Keith hoping they would mind their business I would eventually get swallowed up by them.
This had to change now. In my past life Diana had control of Keiths resources whist I had nothing. Now I had Louis and a job. I was in a different position already and had
access to more resources.
My hands came to my cheeks and I slapped them.
‘Come on Jasmine, you can do this. You stopped Gatwick, you can find a way to stop
Diana and Keith.‘
I would find the evidence I needed on Diana and have a better chance in the custody battle for Tony. Proving Diana was dangerous or bringing her secret to light was the best chance I had at protecting my son and myself.
I then felt a body press into mine from behind pulling me out of my thoughts. Their arms came around me and held onto the railing placing their hands over my hands.
“Louis,” I breathed out knowing it was him.
“What are you thinking about?” he asked me his breath tickling my ear.
“How I can win against Keith in court,” I said.
“You thought of anything so far?” he asked.
“Theres a few things I’m considering,” I told him.

“Just know I’m here to support you in anyway I can as usual,” he said.
“Thank you,” I replied.
I then turned my body to face him. My eyes immediately softened when they met his. His eyes were filled with desire as they looked down at me.
“Have considered my request from the other night?” he then asked me.
I knew he was referring to when he’d asked me if we could date him. I’m sure the answer was obvious enough considering how we’d been with each other lately.
I’d never wanted someone like this before. Nor did I ever think someone could ever
want me like this either. To think I had been content with a loveless marriage before.
“Will I get fired if I refuse?” I asked mockingly.
“Mmhmm–Maybe,” he joked back.
My lips curved into a smile.
My hands went to his chest, and his cupped my face. His lips came down on mine and we kissed.
My mind went blank. Immediately, all my troubling thoughts left me as I melted into the kiss. A pure euphoric feeling came over me.
When I pulled away. “Yes, I will go out with you Louis,”
He smiled at me before his lips kissed me briefly once more, then they moved on to my chin, then my to neck. He began kissing and sucking at it.
“What a relief I was about to start preparing the papers to get you fired,” he said each word between kisses. His lips leaving a trail of fire on my skin.
I laughed and moaned at the same time.
Things could be so different for Tony and I this time around I thought to myself. I wanted to continue living like this I had to fight as hard as I could to make sure I could live a hopeful future like this.

The following day Louis and spent most of the morning brainstorming how to start looking into Diana. I had informed him of my plan the night before.
“Okay, we’ll need together as much information as we can about her,” I said as we

discussed in the seating area of his home office. “Everything right from her upbringing
to now.”
Since I didn’t have much to go on right now it was better to start off with basic research perhaps something odd would stand out as we looked into it.
*My money’s on the seven–year period whilst you were still living with Keith,” Louis said.“You think she’s hiding something, right? Whatever, it is she was probably cooking up her plan around this time.”
He then took a puff of the cigarette in his had and tapped the tip on the ashtray pm
the table.
“I agree.” I said. “It definitely was around that time. Everything that led up to her entrance at Keoth’s birthday party two years ago.”
*Ill have some men start gathering and compiling information on her. he told me.
“Thank you,” I said to him. “I will also some more money and support for the trial.”
“What do have so have in mind?” he asked.
I smiled at him. “My father.”
