Alpha Nicholas 

“Well, I did not see that coming!” Shane practically shouts the moment Will and Sophie close the door to the little sid they have gone into. I shake my head as a shocked laugh bubbles out of me. “Fuck, I know, it’s crazy.” I never would have of us would be mated to her, but I’m seriously happy about it. 

We’ve always gotten on with Sophie. She was our sister’s best friend but after… what happened, we all became even meS DEEPAITAN of her, and I’m glad that one of us gets to be by her side. I also know that Will has always had a thing for Sophie, but he refused to start something up with her when he could meet his mate and break her heart. I know it’s always been hard for him, and I’m glad he’s www R her as his mate. Those two will be amazing together. 

“I’m happy for him though, I think it’ll be good for him.” Shane pulls Lily into his side and kisses her on the head as he speaks, it’s then that I realize that in the space of 4 days, 3 out of 4 Alpha brothers have found their mate. There’s only Robbie left now, that in crazy! “Let’s head to the guard room and see what’s going on.” He nods and quickly follows Bonnie and me as we walk past all of the cas and ignore the prisoners and their piss–poor attempts at getting us to let them out. 

We step inside the guard’s room to find everyone sitting around the table, including Tony and Omega Suzzy as they chat about Will and Sophie, as much as I’m happy for them and would love nothing more than to join in the conversation, we have bigger things that need to talk about right now. “Ok you bunch of cockle women, let’s get down to business. No offense Suzzy.” She lets out a laugh before tapping my arm as she heads towards the door. “Call if you need anything, Alpha.” The woman is a goddam angel and I’m lucky enough to consider her a very good friend. “Ryan, walk Suzzy back to the pack house and then come back down.” He nods and then runs after her. 

“I don’t need a bodyguard, Ryan. Now, go back to your seat, I’ll be just fine.” We all smile and laugh as they continue to argue until their voice grows too distant for us to understand them. “That bloody woman will give me a heart attack one day,” Robbie grunts. “You and me both brother. I agree. Suzzy is a doll but she is also a stubborn old goat and a nightmare when you want to protect her. I don’t know how many times I’ve had to order her to accept protection in my Alpha tone. 

“So, shall we get started? Ryan will only be a few minutes.” Tony asks, more than eager to get things moving, and I’m right there with him. “Before we start Nick. I get why Bonnie and Sophie are here, but why is Lilly? And before Shane gets his wolf in a twist, f’m not asking to be a prick or anything, I just want to know if something is going on that we should know about.” It’s a good question and one that I’ve been thinking about myself. Instead of asking him, I give Shane a nod and watch as he takes a deep breath. 

“There is a reason for her being here, and it’s pretty big and insanely fucked up. It’s also her story to tell, so I’m not going to step on her toes.” OK, now my interest has peaked. “Lily, are you ok?” I feel Bonnie tense up beside me as she takes a step forward, I was just about to ask her if she knew what was going on, but the look on her face tells me that she doesn’t and that in itself is worrying From what I’ve learned so far, Lily and Bonnie have been best friends all their lives and have shared everything, so if Lily has kept something from her, then it has to be pretty big.
