my arms around her.

to walk her away from Lola’s body and after saying goodbye he leads her outside and towards the pack house.

“I’m glad that this matter has been dealt with. Alpha Nicholas, are you ok to deal with these bodies, or would you like some help.”

“We have it covered, Elder Rick. Thank you for your assistance today, it’s much appreciated.” He nods as he comes over to me and shakes my hand. “You’re more than welcome, Alpha Nicholas. Wolves like them need taking down and I’m happy to be there for every single one. We wiped the world of four evil wolves today and I’m glad that we did. None of them were sorry for their actions nor would any of them have stopped doing what they were. Death was the only way to stop them.”

Within a few minutes, everyone is in talks about what has happened and how we will dispose of the bodies. The Elder’s leave mid- conversation while Shane takes control of giving out orders. “Go to your mate and daughter.” He tells me. I look straight at him and see nothing but care and compassion. He’s not trying to take over. He knows that I need to be with them more right now and as my brother and Beta, he’s giving that to me, and I’m grateful for that.

“Thank you, brother.” she gives me a nod before walking off and back to giving out orders to the other men here. I look around happy with how things are going before leaving the shed without looking back. The only thing I want to do right now is find my mate and daughter and tell them that they are both finally free of the people who only ever wanted to hurt them.
