Chapter 245 Go for a Stroll 

With an irritated huff, Emily made Alexander quickly turn his face away. 

At the same time, his ear tips reddening, he stammered an apology, “S–sorry.” 

“Get outta here,” Emily said. 

Taking a peek out of the window, Alexander said, “I need to talk to you. I’ll leave later. Get dressed first.” 

Unbidden, the image of her bare back kept flashing in his mind, and he struggled to shake it off. 

Seeing him turn his back, for some inexplicable reason, Emily found herself trusting him. 

She took off the towel and put on her pajamas. 

“All done,” she told him. 

When Alexander turned around, he avoided her eyes, instead looking at her toes and muttering. “Alright.” 

Emily was really ticked off about him climbing through the window again. It wasn’t the first time he’d scared the daylights out of her, and this time she’d been naked! 

Calming herself a bit, she said firmly, “Alexander, no more of this. If you come again, I’ll have the window sealed up ” 16:50

Alexander stepped up to her, his large figure completely enveloping her in his shadow. 

Seeing her flustered, he grinned. 

Leaning down, Alexander said with a teasing tone, “You can mess with me, but I can’t do the same to you?” 

Caught off guard, Emily turned her head and asked, “What are you here for?” 

Without answering, Alexander walked past her and plopped onto her bed. 

“Get off the bed,” Emily snapped. 

The last time he’d been on her bed, she’d forgotten to change the sheets before going to work. 

That night, Molly had come to play in her room. When she got sleepy, she tried to sleep on the bed. 

Nestling on the pillow, Molly wrinkled her nose and said, “Aunt Emily, this pillow stinks.”

Emily marched over to the couch, pulled the blanket over herself, and turned her back to him. 

She figured Alexander wouldn’t stay all night and would go home when he got tired. 

Dead tired as she was, Emily was too on edge to sleep with him around. 

Just as sleep was finally starting to claim her, Alexander suddenly spoke up, “Let’s go for a stroll.” 

Suddenly, Emily perked up and asked, “Where?”

asked. 

Panic flashed across Emily’s face. “No way! My brother and the others might spot us,” she protested. 

Alexander laughed. “Really? You’re that worried about getting caught?”
