Gary took his phone and went into a nearby lounge. 

This time was different from before. His parents actually turned on the video. 

When he saw how much older they looked, his chest felt tight. 

He hadn’t seen them in many years. They felt both familiar and strange at the same time. 

His father, Nathan Spencer, looked at him. “You’re a grown man. If you have something to say, say it. Why are your eyes red, and why are you not speaking?” 

His mother, Maria Spencer, looked worried. “Are you unhappy living back home? Do you want to come here and travel for a few days?” 

Gary was the oldest son. Over the years, he had stayed in contact with Nathan and Maria the 

most. 

He had visited them overseas before, but they were always busy and only sent assistants to receive him. 

After that, he stopped going, because whether he went or not, he still couldn’t see them. 

“Dad, Mom, I called today because I have something very important to tell you.” 

Nathan and Maria checked the time. “Alright. We have half an hour. Keep it simple.”

Nathan was stunned. “You’re saying my real daughter is actually this capable?” 

Maria, however, was very firm.

Alice’s car stopped under a residential building.

Daniel was startled.
