Chapter 161

“We need to get them out, now!” I bellow. “We do but where have the boys gone? They went in this building?” Tony shouts so he can be heard over the noise around us. The place is already in uproar. Wolves snarling and growling. The sounds of bones breaking and the whimpers of dying wolves ringing loud and clear for everyone to hear. I only hope those dying wolves ain’t any of my men.

“Any spare men, over to my building. NOW!” I bellow through the mind link. “I’ve got men coming now. They can take care of these women while we keep searching.” I bellow to Tony who nods back graduate clear in his eyes but I don’t miss the slight torment that’s there either. I know without asking why it’s there. He wants to save these women and already feels bad for not doing so, but he has to put his boys first. He hasn’t said a word of this out loud but he doesn’t need to. “Don’t be hard on yourself. I would do the same thing.” I tell him.

“Alpha, what do you need?” I turn around to find Will and a shit load of warriors all bundled against the side of the building. My men are loyal to a Fucking fault. “There are women in this building and it appears that they have either already been inseminated or are about

to be. We still haven’t found the boys.”

“Say no more, Alpha. We have this covered.” Will shouts anger already strong on his face and I know he means every word. I know

how easy it can be for someone to escape this camp, it happened when I was in that horror one all those years ago and to this day we

still don’t know where they are.

“Tony, you are in charge here. What’s the plan? He gives me a nod as he swallows hard. “There’s a door at the back of the building. I saw it through the window. Let’s head around the back and see where it leads.” I nod and follow straight behind him as the rest of the

warriors follow me.

We keep low as we head around to the other side of the building and within seconds we hear growls and snarls coming from inside which means that my men are in there and those women are now safe. Thank fuck!

As we’re about to round the corner Tony suddenly stops so sharply that I almost ran into the back of him. His spine instantly sharpens and I swear that I can feel anger rolling off his body. He spins around and walks us backwards a few steps.

“They are taking the children and pregnant women into some kind of underground tunnel. They are trying to fucking hide them!” he growls and I’m instantly angry and so are the men around me.

I try to quickly form a plan in my mind but in the few seconds that I can spare to think nothing of use comes to mind. “The reality is that no matter what we do next it’s going to be dangerous but I am more than ready to do whatever it takes to get Tony’s boys back, and all the other children for that matter!”

“Abso–fucking–lutely!” Tony growls while the other men quickly agree. “We get them all out of there. Pregnant women get a choice. Any that want to come we take but we don’t force them.” I haven’t a clue how many children are down there or what the hell were going to do with them but that can be figured out later.

Once again, Tony takes the lead and within seconds we are out in the open and storming towards the door that the children have gone on to. The noise is deafening as the fight carries on around us. A loud growl rocks the earth beneath us causing me to get ready to defend my group only as I turn to face the sound I watch as a wolf is thrown in the air and crashes to the ground with the loudest thud and thats when I see that Shane was the one to kill him.

Chapter 161

I take a quick look around and quickly realise that his group of men are protecting us. As far as I’m aware he doesn’t know what’s going on but he’s clearly sensed something and is here to help in the best way he can. The more he and his group keep those assholss away from us the more we can concentrate on the task at hand. I’m not saying we couldn’t do both but anything that can speed up this process is good with me.

The closer we get to the door the more wolves seem to appear. They’ve realized what we are doing and appear to be willing to do anything to stop it. Unfortunately for them, we’re willing to do anything we have to in order to rescue those poor children and women and luckily for us, we have a shit load of good fighters.

Considering how close the door appeared to be to us it feels like forever until we finally reach it, but finally we did and after a few seconds of tugging Tony and I manage to get the door open. I’m pretty sure that they had locked the door from the inside but if they thought that would stop us they are bigger idiots than I thought and that’s saying something.

Once the doors open the light from the sun shines inside and allows us to see everything which is good considering the whole place is coated in a layer of darkness. There doesn’t appear to be any lights in there. There’s a small ladder running down the inside wall so I put myself forward to go first. While a lot of Alpha’s will allow their men to go before them I like to do things differently. I believe you should lead by example and if my men are willing to put themselves before me and die for me then I always want them to know that I

will do the same.

As soon as I reach the bottom of the step I feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and swiftly turn around eger to know what has me on edge but there is only one problem with that and that’s the fact that I don’t think that there’s anything that could have prepared me for the sight that greets me.
