Warrior Robbie 

“Robbie, how’s it going that end?” Shane’s voice slams into my head as I try to catch my breath after taking down another wolf. I’m not sure how long we’ve been fighting but it has been a hard fight that’s for sure. While we have numbers on our side and have quite a few more fighters than them, most of them were hard fuckers and it took a lot to take them down.

Unfortunately for them, we’re well–trained. We have some of the best fighters that I have ever known and more than anything, we are relentless, and no matter how hard it is or how long it takes we will end every single one of these good–for–nothing disgusting sad 

excuses for wolves. 

Being a wolf I have had to face a few battles over my lifetime and I’ve been in more than my fair share of fights but never have I felt anger like I do today. Yes, we have cleared out more than one of these camps over the years but earlier today when Nick told us that there was another one of these camps and that Tony’s boys was here, well fuck, it instantly had an anger burning through my body unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. What they did to Rosie… to her boys… Yeah, every single one of these fuckers is dying today! 

“Duck!” I turn to my left just in time to duck down low as a wolf comes flying across the air and straight over my head. He lands on the ground with a thud so hard that it shakes the ground while the sound of his neck breaking makes me feel nothing but happiness. I look across at Cole and give him a grateful nod as he walks towards me. Since when did I daydream while in the middle of a fight? 

“And that’s the last prick!” I look around and realize that he’s right. We have ended every one of them that were in this building and it seems that our guys outside have that cleared too. “Any injured do you know?” He shakes his head as he looks around. “I gave that job to Warren, I’ll go check in with him.” He walks off and I keep a listen to make sure there is no one else hiding out in this makeshift cabin that’s somehow used as a living space. 

Within minutes I walk over to the front door and see Cole on his way back over to me. “This place is clear, Robbie,” John says as he comes from behind me with Jonah right behind him. I sent them both to do a final check of the upper floor of this building before we leave. There’s no chance any of those fuckers are going to be left to live, no way! 

“Lovely work, guys. Head out to Warren and see where he needs you. They both nod as they head off giving Cole a nod as they walk past him on the way. “How are we looking?” He nods looking fairly relaxed. “A few broken bones, cuts, and genual injuries. Nothing that won’t be healed by the end of the day. We haven’t lost anyone in our group.” Thank fuck for that! 

“Robbie… are you there?” Fuck, I forgot about Shane’s mind link. “Yes, I’m here sorry, brother.” 

“How’s it going on your end?” 

“Good. We have taken them all down, both inside and outside. How’s it going on your end?” 

“All good. All clear. Listen I need to you bring as many men as you can to the south side. Come around the back of the building that Nick and Tony searched and you will see me.” What the fuck? 

“What’s going on? I thought you said it was good?”
