“Robbie, have you found your mate?” I watch as his body goes rigid and I already know the answer before he’s even opened his mouth but still, I give him the time he needs. As I expected he doesn’t say a word but he does nod confirming my suspicion. 

“Ok, brother, ok. Now, I’m going to ask you one more question and then I’m going to leave you to have some time to yourself. You don’t have to answer this question but I would appreciate it if you did. “Did you find your mate in the hole?” Again he nods and the 

sadness in his eyes hurts to see. 

I nod as I put my hand on his shoulder and gently squeeze. “Ok, brother. I’m going to leave you alone like I said I would but as soon as you are ready to talk just let me know and I’ll be there. I don’t care what time it is, you call me ok?” He nods. “Thank you, Nick.” Without another word, he walks off to the Gamma floor and once he’s out of my sight I continue up to my floor. We have a lift that stops at every level of the pack house but it’s days like today that I’m happy to walk it. It gives me time to try and work through things. 

The moment I open the door to my lounge area the scent of my mate hits me and fuck if it doesn’t instantly help to calm me. How have I lived all these years without her or her scent in my life? The lounge and kitchen area are dark and empty but I know that she’s already up here so I head straight for the bedroom. The bedroom is empty when I enter it but the bathroom door is closed and I can hear the shower running and fuck, if the thought of my mate in the shower doesn’t instantly get me hot and bothered. 

The moment I open the bathroom door her scent hits me even more while the calm lul of her voice as she quietly sings has my body relaxing. Before I even realise what I’m doing I’ve stripped down to my boxers and I’m standing in the middle of the room just staring at the glass shower door watching my mate as she washes her hair.

“Are you coming in?” Her sweet voice breaks through the fog that’s currently clouding my mind. She turns her head to face me blessing me with her beautiful smile just seconds before her smile turns into a wicked grin that has me racing to remove my boxer briefs and get my ass in the shower asap! 

The moment I step inside she moves in to cuddle me and once again her effect on me has me calming down even more. I didn’t realise how tense this whole situation had me. “Where’s Lottie? Is she ok?” She asks as she breathes in my scent making me smile. “She’s good. She’s staying with my parents tonight. Said we need some time alone.” Her cheeks go slightly pink but she nods her head. “I think 

she’s right.” 

I’m not offended by her words in the least. I know she doesn’t mean anything bad by them. At first, it was always the three of us but as time went on we quickly realised that as great as that time together was, we still needed time for us. And of course, my parents also made that clear to us despite me begging them to be quiet. And Lottie being Lottie never complains when we take some time for ourselves. She is 15 and not dull and seems to understand that we need time both as a family and as mates. 

“Oh, she is!” I growl as I take hold of her throat and walk her backwards towards the shower wall. My hold on her isn’t too tight but tight enough to make her eyes light up with need. Over the last few weeks, we have spent a lot of time experimenting in bed and it turns out that Bonnie likes a little dirty with her nice and gets instantly turned on when I’m dominant with her which is great for me because I couldn’t think of anything better. 

Before she can say another word I lean down and kiss her with all I have. For the moment, I’m done talking. I just want to feel my mate and enjoy every second of fucking the shit out of her.

“As much as I want to spend a long time worshipping your body, I need you too badly right now.” She nods giving me an understanding look. Then take me, Alpha. I’m all yours to do with how you please.” Jesus fucking fuck. This woman knows exactly what to say and do. How she still gets self–conscious, I’ll never understand. 

Can’t she see how hot she is right now? If only she knew how much she turns me on. I swear I only have to think about her and I’m instantly hard and watching her train… fuck don’t get me started on that. I’ve had to leave training so many times that I’m starting to think that she suspects that something is wrong. If only she knew. 

“Well, Alpha… are you going to show me what you’ve got or shall we go to bed and… sleep?” 

“Be quiet!” I growl as I spin her around and pull her tight to my body. “You’ll do as you’re told or I won’t let you come.”
