152 The pregnancy plan 

“Keith I’m pregnant,” she told me with a wide smile. My body froze, and I felt the color drain from my face as I looked at her. No. There was no 

way. 

I recalled the times we had slept together lately. I hadn’t used a condom had I? I thought she took the pill, though? 

“Keith are you alright?” Diana, she asked me pulling me out of my thoughts. I realized the shock had just paralysed me. 

“Yeah I’m just processing the news,” I said as I took the pregnancy test from her. 

She looked up at me from her seat, a large smile on her face, clearly excited that she was pregnant. I realizedi had to answer her. 

“I wasn’t what I was expecting but this is

amazing!” I said trying to seem excited. 

“I know, I hadn’t expected this either. But we talked about havingmore kids when we got married. I guess we’ll be starting earlier than we planned,” she said as she took my hand 

“Yes, I guess we will,” I said in strained passive voice. I recalled our talks some time ago about having more children. Before all this Jasmine stuff started. 

“The good thing is that now we can both be there for our child this time, unlike when I had to raise Marco alone,” she said. 

Immediately my heart felt heavy upon hearing that. The guilt I felt. I had always felt bd that I abandoned Diana when she needed me most when she was pregnant with Marco ten years ago. All those years she had had to raise Marco alone. I had made a promise when we rekindled our relationship that I would never do that again.

“When we get married we’ll still make more right?” she asked. 

Her talking about the future already had me 

nervous. 

I smiled at her. “Lots more,” I said then rubbed 

her shoulder. 

I looked at the pregnancy test again wondering if it was true. It showed two lines, she truly was 

pregnant. Even the doctor showed up at the house. 

“Mum, Dad?” I then heard a familiar voice say from behind I turned and found Marco entering 

the room. 

“Marco,” I said his name as he walked into the 

room. 

“Marco, hey sweetie?” Diana said to him and he walked over to her. 

“Whats happening?” he asked.

“I’m pregnant, sweetie,”she said as she brought 

him in for a hug. 

“I’m going to have a sibling?” he asked. 

“Yes,” Diana said. “We’re going to be four now. Are you excited?” 

“Yes,” Marco said in a sweet and cheerful tone. 

The pressure just kept piling on the more they talked. 

My mind was so focused on Jasmine and the upcoming court proceeding for our divorce. I hadn’t expected to worry about a baby on the way with Diana. What would Jasmine think when she found out about the pregnancy? 

“Can you stand?” I asked her as I reached out my hand to help her up from her seat. 

“I’m fine, just felt a little weak,” she replied. 

“Have you had dinner?”

“No,” she answered. 

“I’ll have the chefs make a soup for you so it’s easier for your nausea,” I told her. 

Once we were so we were done with dinner we 

went to our room. 

“Though it’s so sudden I’m so excited for this. When I moved to Kensington I always that I was going to be there alone raising Marco,” she said. “Now I’m back here with you I’ve always wanted 

this. 

Say you will. It’s what you’re supposed to say, I thought to myself. “Make sure you rest well and take it easy from now on,” was all I could bring myself to say. 

“Me too,” I forced myself to answer. 

“The girls are going to be so excited when they hear the news. I can’t wait,” she said. 

She sounded so excited for this. Meanwhile my

That evening I couldn’t bring myself to sleep as I tried to process this new situation. I couldn’t let Diana down again. I had found nothing I against her this whole time whilst having her watched. My mind should be solely focused on her, Marco and our coming baby. And yet… my mind couldn’t help itself. Jasmine still kept in. 

3 Days earlier 

DIANA’S POV 

I sat in my bubble bath and soaked myself as I looked at the ceiling. “Ma’am may I come in to adjust your bath?” I heard my head main ask me from outside. 

“Come in,” I told her. 

She entered and came to me, lowering herself

“You want me to lie to Keith that I’m pregnant?” I 

asked in disbelief. 

“Do you want to get his attention back or not?” he asked me. “You need to apply pressure and telling him you’re having his child will do just. Wait any longer and his head will completely turn for Jasmine. You have to get him back on you.” 

I contemplated for a bit, he was right if I was pregnant I could get Keith’s attention but the idea was too risky. His plans usually overall had worked. Everything we had built in the last 10 years had worked. 

“Being pregnant will definitely help but how can I prove it to him? I take the pill frequently you 

know,” 

“Did he use protection?” he asked. 

“No,” I recalled the last time Keith and I had done

“Well then, accidents can happen even when you take the pill or use a condom. It won’t be hard to believe that it happened,” he said. 

“And for the pregnancy test?” I asked which was the biggest problem in selling this whole thing. A single pregnancy test could prove I was lying. 

“There’s no need to worry about that. I can give you something to help with that,” he assured me. 

My eyebrow raised as I wondered what he was suggesting. 

“And what about me not actually being pregnant? Keith will find out eventually,” I told him. 

“Then make sure you become pregnant by the time you should be showing physical signs. From now on do everything you can. Sleep on his dick if you have to,” he told me. 

My eyes widened in disbelief.

“And if it doesn’t work?” I then asked. “You’ll think of something Diana. A miscarriage you don’t need me to think of everything for you. Besides I plan to have Jasmine handled by then so you should have your main competition handled.” 

I remembered that he planned to deal with Jasmine sooner since she was messing with out plan. That was going to be a risky and hard task to pull but with Jasmine out of the way 

“I can handle it,” I told him in a confident voice. 

“Good then in the coming week I’ll have the things you’ll need to sent to you. As usual have your head maid collect them for and be cautious of Keith who is watching you.

As I looked at the suspicious liquid in the test tube–like cylinder my head maid I knew ‘he‘ had actually done it. He had actually found a pregnant woman’s urine. I didn’t even want to know how

he’d done it. 

Within the next two days I planned how I would 

reveal the ‘news‘ to Keith. I wanted it to be a dramatic reveal that instantly put pressure on Keith as ‘he‘ had suggested. After preparing for the reveal for the two days, the next day I put my plan into action. After Keith and Marco left the estate I drank lots of laxative pills that induced nausea and vomiting so I could mimic morning sickness and appear unwell. 

When Marco came back from school in the afternoon I taught him the script for what he was to say to me when I revealed the news to Keith. I wanted him to sound extremely excited and happy. To give that happy mother and son image. 

“Smile Marco, I don’t want you to show that depressed looking face when your father comes home,” I whispered/yelled at him. “I always tell you this!”

He flinched at my words, fearing a lashing. 

My head maid was outside in Marco’s mainbedroom keeping an eye out for any of Keiths men that might be listening in. I always find this when I had my private conversations 

with him. 

I occasionally had to train Marco on how to present himself publicly. I didn’t want people thinking I was abusing so I had to train him to smile and appear happy. Luckily, because my training was so good most people just thought he was just a shy but polite kid.
