JASMINE’S POV

I have some news for you. Gossip around Amy men have Apparently, Diana is pregnant,” Louis said.

My eyebrows raised in surprise, not expecting to hear that.

In my past life it wasn’t until after they got married that they had more children. I guess things were different now.

Wow, good for them,I said nonchalantly. I really didn’t care when they started having children.

However, considering the fact I was trying to expose Diana, her being pregnant wouldn’t be in her favor but we would have to see how things turned out. I just hoped Louisprogrammers could sort out the data in time

How is the menu doing so far?I asked the manager Michael as I sat in the guest seat to the desk in his office. It had been four days since each new menu had launched in all the restaurants. At the HQ we were carefully monitoring the performance of each.

Today I was making my rounds again to the restaurants asking about the new menu. Whilst we were receiving daily updates on the new menusperformance we also wanted to see, in person at the restaurants what was happening which is why Louis sent me to check on the restaurants.

Of course it’s not like we expected the menu to be an overnight success and for people to come rushing through the doors. We just want to find out the initial reactions of the diners as well as how the staff were handling it.

The menu seems to be translating well with the diners. For starters no one has complained or sent back any food since the launch, the manager told me.

Good, sounds like steady progress is being made,I commented.

We also wanted to get ready to make adjustments to make the final menu consisting of only the popular dishes.

Have there been any issues you would like to share?I then asked.

After talking to the manager I briefly passed through the kitchens to check on the chefs to see how they were handling the preparation of the dishes. If there were any

issues Louis and I wanted to make sure we took care of them.

Good afternoon chefs! all good back here?asked them up in entering the kitchens.

Yes!they answered in unison as they continued doing what they were doing getting orders ready. I moved

The workload is so much easier now that we reduced the dishes, one assistant chef

told me.

And it’s nice to use fresh ingredients!another chimed in. I then left the kitchen and checked on the dining area and see the diners.

Before I left the restaurant, I made sure to talk to Mike and Megan.

How have you guys been?I asked the two of them pulling them to the side.

Honestly things couldn’t have been better,Mike said.

Yeah, everything is smooth sailing,Megan chimed in. Mike’s dad was released from the hospital, and is back home with them.”

Yeah, it’s been such a relief to have him back him when he hasnt been home for a very long time.

Thats good to hear,I told them.

You and the CEO are the ones who came up with the idea for this new menu?Megan

asked me.

Pretty much,I said.

Everyone at the restaurant is excited for this new change. I’ve never seen the chefs so happy to cook. We’re all hoping this brings back customers to the restaurant and it doesn’t have to shut down,” Megan said.

I hope so too,I replied.

After finishing my brief conversation with the two, I left the restaurant and went to the next one to continue my rounds around all the restaurants in the city.

When I finished with the last restaurant late in the afternoon, I made my way back to the HQ.Overall, I was pleased with the results it seemed soon the restaurants were going to be making a hopefully steady recovery. Not an overnight success but at the very least I hoped it meant the restaurants would stop losing customers.

Upon arriving at the HQ I went to give my report findings to Louis in his office however, I found he had gone out. I recalled he had a meeting out of the office with

one of the restaurantssuppliers. I hadn’t gone with him because I hard to make my rounds at the restaurants.

We met later towards the end of our work shifts That night we went to my apartmen We did our usual routine and after dinner I took Tony to bed.

As he got in his bedsheets I noticed he seemed a little bit worried as he contemplated about something.

What’s wrong?I asked him.

Nothinghe simply answered.

Knowing he was lying I thought about what it was that was bothering him

I hope you’re not worrying yourself about what I told you on Sunday. Remember I said no pressure. You only do it if you can, I reminded him. He didn’t have to stress himself about getting a hair from Marco. I

I know,he said. Once he was tucked in, i left his room and went to my bedroom where Louis was waiting for me in bed. His laptop was open and he was typing away

Upon entering the room he looked my way.

So I gave the file to the programmers I told you about,he started as I got into the bed with him. they said it could take a while to make everything legible but they said they can do it. There are too many files after all. We’ll have to wait to see how it goes hopefully they will be able to get it done in

I crossed my fingers as I hoped they could get it done in time.

I also have multiple still looking into the house in Kendington

If this person is watching us I have no doubt they are cleaning up their trail.

******

The following day I went to meet with my lawyers to discusss my upcoming court hearing. I had talked to Louis and he allowed me to clear my morning schedule so I could go.

I want to prove Diana Rockford is a threat and there it would be risky for my son to be around them justifying my request for sole custody. I also have proof of funSu and a stable job to roove I can support my son on my own.”
