Chapter 96
Calvert’s expression was cold. He was surpised how brazen Ash was being even after he had exposed her. She couldn’t even be bothered to pretend.
He took a screenshot of the message and saved it, his eyes full of suspicion.
Ash got to Shadow Ventures, and after making a concrete plan for the land bid, she carefully checked the details. She couldn’t ignore the powerful opposition she was up against for this land bid.
William also felt the pressure for the first time. No wonder Ash had not let him come into contact with the four major families previously. She did not wish to cooperate or offend them. William finally understood what it was like to be the family’s successor.
He felt relieved as he watched his boss get busy with a serious expression. With her around, there seemed to be nothing to worry about.
Ash completed the plan, and William was responsible for implementing it. Once it was all done, Ash vacated.
At this moment, Bailey called. “Ms. Turner, the new designs you made have arrived. Do you want to come over and take a look?”
“Yes, I’ll be there soon.” After hanging up the phone, Ash drove straight to Dream Couture with Eleanor.
“When we go to the shop, you can pick anything you like, and I’ll pay for it.” Ash had always been very generous to her friends.
“Okay,” Eleanor replied, but her voice was a little hoarse, making it impossible to know her real voice.
She moved around like a shadow. Very few people would notice her presence.
Ash was used to Eleanor. The two of them used to be comrades–in–arms.
When she retracted her gaze, the car had already stopped at the shop entrance.
Dream Couture’s attendant quickly came out to greet Ash and parked her car in the parking space beside her. She was a very considerate attendant. “Hello, Boss.”
Ash nodded slightly and walked in.
Bailey was inside. “Ms. Turner, you finally had time to come over. This batch of new designs and gowns has already been reserved. If you have time, can you order more?”
She spoke with such glee because she was satisfied with the sales they had in the recent period. Bailey adored Ash and looked at her with admiration in her eyes.
Ash’s expression froze for a moment. It had only been half a month, and they were out of stock again. She said in disbelief, “You guys need to take it easy. I can’t draw so many designs.”
Moreover, Ash was very busy during this period. She was still in charge of some of the company affairs.
Bailey realized Ash did not seem to be joking and softened her tone. “Then take your time. I’ve got two items left in stock. I’ll display them when we have important customers. How about that? It’s a smart idea, right?”
“You.” The corners of Ash’s lips curled up slightly. She had a doting gaze. “Then you’ll have to deal with it for a while longer.”

At this moment, someone spoke with an ear piercing voice. “This is such a big shop, yet no one is attending to me. The sales clerks aren’t doing a good job!”
Samantha walked in arrogantly with a man on her arm.
Upon hearing this familiar voice, Ash’s eyes narrowed slightly. She pointed at the sign that had yet to be removed. “Samantha, dogs are not allowed to enter. Can’t you read?”
“Sam, these two sales clerks are bullying me.” Samantha’s voice was soft with a hint of coquettishness. It could give anyone goosebumps.
The man accompanying her was Samuel of the Shelton family.
Bailey immediately returned to her professional state when she noticed the prestigious customer. She put on a perfect smile. “Mr. Shelton, welcome.”
