I run as fast as I can but even without my bump I’m still feeling the weight of this pregnancy and running as fast as usual isn’t possible even with Lexi’s help. I make it down the first set of steps but before I can even take a step down the second lot a hand comes around my waist and I’m pulled back into a hard chest. “Nice try bitch!” It’s twat bag two that’s talking, I can tell by the sound of his voice. Fuck, I’m in trouble. “Do as you are told and you won’t get hurt.” I don’t believe a word he says but I need time to figure things out so for now I nod my head and play the willing game even though im anything but willing and one way or another this prick will find that 

out. 

I’m pulled back up to my floor and after my hands are tied behind my back I’m pushed down onto one of the wooden stools that we keep here for me to stand on when I can’t reach something in the kitchen and Nick’s not here. “What are you doing?” I was hoping that I had been wrong but as Jonathan walks towards me seeming unsurprised that I am here and in this position, I know that im not wrong and 

that he was involved in this. 

“Making sure she can’t do anything or catch me off guard.” Twat bag two grunts. “She’s pregnant you idiot and while we have to get her out of here we still need to be mindful of the pup. She also needs to be in one piece remember. Put her hands in front of her now!” Jonathan’s behaviour is confusing but as much as I want to think that he’s looking out for me he’s not because otherwise, he would be protecting me right now not helping the men who want to get me the hell out of here. 

“I need you to go and help Mark. He is in the bedroom getting a bag together for little Miss Luna here but I’d bet that the guy has no idea of what he needs. Neither of us has a mate but you do so you’re the best one for the job.” Twat bag two looks around the room before speaking bearly above a whisper. “Where are Warren and Declan?” I’d also like to know the answer to that. 

“I sent them off for the first sleep shift. They won’t be back for four hours, Neil” It takes me a minute to register a name as his words make my blood run cold but I use every one of strength that I have not to let it show. “Nice work, Johnathan, nice work. I’ll go help Mark. When are we going to get her out of here?” Twat bag… Neil asks and it’s then that I notice the change of colour in his eyes. Either his wolf is trying to get through or he’s aroused. For the love of the goddess, I hope it is the first one. 

‘I’m going to get her to the shelter. Once you two are done meet us there and well head out,” Jonathan says. Neil gives me a creepy smile before nodding his agreeance and heading for my bedroom. One that will need burning now that those two assholes have been 

rummaging through my stuff. 

Jonathan walks over to me and moves my tied hands from my back to my front “ok, let’s go.” He takes hold of my arm before guiding me up from the stool a lot gentler than I thought he would. “Johnathan, why are you doing this?” As much as I try to hold back both my tears and emotions, I can’t and a sob breaks free. “Just keep walking,” He whispers sounding nothing like the cold–hearted man that he did 

just moments ago. 

I keep asking him questions while he walks me down the stairs and through the hallways until we reach a side door that I’ve never noticed before. The whole time I’ve been praying that we run into a guard or pack member… just… anyone but there’s not a soul around. Where the heck is everyone? Before I can think any more about it I realise that we are at the back of the pack house and heading towards the forest. The whole walk Jonathan hasn’t spoken a single word to me and I’m scared, seriously scared. Fuck, I’m in so much trouble and 

I have no idea how I’m going to get out of it.
