After a few minutes of walking, it hits me like a lightning strike. I can link Nick. I’ve been so afraid that I forgot I could do it that, and the fact that I’m still so used to dealing with trouble on my own. I’ve never had anyone I could link with when I needed help, but I do now, my mate. I know my sight will be restricted, but I feel I’ll have a better chance of surviving this if I can give Nick a heads up. Yes, 

it’s worth the risk, it has to be. 

I look around us and see that we are on a long pathway. It is straight and flat, and probably the perfect time to lose my sight for a few seconds. I open my link to Nick and feel utter devastation when I realise that he must have his link blocked. Fuck! fuck! fuck! What 

am I going to do now? How am I going to get out of this? 

I can feel my body shaking from the inside out, and I’m more scared than I have ever been before, and Goddess, have I been in some scary situations. I stop walking, causing Johnathan to stop in his tracks and turn to face me. “Johnathan, why are you doing this?” I don’t know why I’m asking him when underneath I already know the reason. He’s connected to the doctor; he has to be. 

My blood runs cold as that reality sets in. Not because he wants to kidnap me, no, that I can deal with, but what sends me spiralling is the reality that if he’s working for or with the doctor, then that means he wants my baby and that I can’t allow to happen, I won’t! 

Before he has a chance to say a word, I push him with all I have, and while I may be a lot smaller than he is, catching him off guard causes him to lose his balance and gives me a chance to get away. The problem is that I’ve seen Johnathan run and of course, I’m a lot slower than him on my best day so you can only imagine how much faster than me he is given my pregnancy and that’s proven only a few seconds later when he grips my arm and pulls me back into him. 

I try to scream, but he must already sense that coming as his hand comes to cover my mouth before a sound even leaves my mouth. “Bonnie, you have got to keep quiet!” He hisses in my ear. Is he fucking kidding me right now? I may not be half as fast or strong as him but that doesn’t mean that I won’t put up a fight. If I’m going to go down, then I’m going to go down swinging. I try to pull away from him, but he only tightens his hold on me even more before doing something that I wasn’t expecting…

I’m covered in blood, both Robbie and Shane are covered in blood, and so would Tony and Will if I had let them, but if I ha,d I doubt the doc would still be breathing. He’s in bad shape, but he’s still breathing… for now. Both Will and Tony will get their turn with him, but 

just not quite yet. 

So far, he’s given us a lot of information, good information, but here’s still more that I need to know. “We both know that your Luna wasn’t the first woman here that you have done this to, so tell me how many women have there been? How many members of my pack 

have you done this to over the years?” 

“Only a few and only when the cult has been short on supply and in desperate need.” He is one sick fuck! “You are fucking cooked!” Robbie growls as he shakes in anger, and as much as I want to end the doc every second that I’m in here, I keep it together and keep asking questions. “How many?” I growl low and dangerous. He looks me dead in the eye with a look that’s somehow between scared and coy before looking around the room and then back to me. “Including the Luna, five.”
