Tlooked behind and found Tony standing with our bodyguardsÂ
“Have you ever boxed Chairman Acland? Louis asked Keith.Â
Keith’s face was annoyedÂ
“I have a few times beforeÂ
My eyes narrowed as I wondered where this conversation was goingÂ
“Then would you mind if I challenged you to a match will you?” Louis asked him.Â
“Uh, no!” I immediately refused what was Louis thinking? I wanted Keith yo leave now. The two men continued to glare at each other completely ignoring me. Their resentment towards each other was on full display.Â
“You know what I will, Keith said accepting Louis‘ challenge.Â
“Keith, are you seriously encouraging this?” I said in disbelief. “You have to leave now.”Â
“We’ll be quick Jasmine,” Louis said to me.Â
“Thats not the point, is this really necessary?” I asked them.Â
“I’ll leave as soon as we’re done, Keith said his glare also unwavering.Â
Again, that wasn’t my point. This wasn’t what I wanted to hear.Â
I was going to yell at Louis as soon as we got home. And why was Keith even agreeing he was wearing a suit for goodness sake? The two then went to the nearest empty ring which was the one Tony and I had been practicing on.Â
“Alright, shall we continue with the lesson?” I then heard Coach Freeman say as I saw her approach from the corner of my eye.Â
I turned to face her. “Coach Freeman, I apologize coach we’ll be taking a bit of a break. I hope you don’t mind?” I asked her.Â
I wouldn’t be able to focus with Keith and Louis going at it. I just felt something might happen.Â
“Okay…” she accepted with a cocked eyebrow whilst staring at Keith and Louis. After she leftÂ
Keith removed his suit jacket, shirt and shoes Till he only remained with his suitÂ

trousers. He handed his clothes to one of two bodyguards.Â
I cannot believe how dedicated he is to this. Louis patiently waited for Keith in the middle of the ring already wearing gloves and a gum guard. Keith was given gloves and his own mouthguard before he entered the ring.Â
As they stood facing one each otherÂ
It’s then that my nervousness really set in. Looking at the two men side by side a glaring difference became evident.Â
Both were visibly physically strong and muscular, however, Keith who was older, had a broader and larger frame.Â
Being bigger doesn’t automatically mean someone will be a better fighter. I was justÂ
nervous.Â
With my arms crossed I furiously watched the two go at it. And along with my fear was extreme anxiousness.Â
“One round,” Louis started. “Whoever knocks the other over to the floor wins.Â
“Simple enough,” Keith replied coolly. “Simon, help us start,” Keith ordered his bodyguard who stood just outside the ring.Â
Keith and Louis both got into position to fight and the bodyguardÂ
Immediately Louis charged at Keith and punched. Keith managed to block the punch and the sound it made was deafening. Louis immediately countered Their movements were fast, swift, and dare I say deadly.Â
I knew Louis was going easy on me when we practiced together but still even when he practiced on his own his he wasn’t like this. This was bring serious. I was taken abÂ
My arms unfolded and I brought my hand to my mouth. I started biting my nails nervously. I didn’t want these two to fight, however, since they were already at it I was cheering for Louis.Â
Louis managed to quickly punch Keith in the gut which made gasp out like the wind had been knocked out of him.Â
Keith took a step back to avoid further attacks but Louis was already there he then punched him hard, square in the face. Keith’s head rocked backwards and he stumbled.Â
‘Yes, Louis!” I celebrated in my heart. I’m sure one more blow and he’ll be on the ground.Â

‘One more,” I whispered to myself, “Just one more.”Â
Louis adjusted his footing as he stepped forwardÂ
Keith look helpless as watched Louis he was moving at all. Just as Louis‘ punch was about to land, Keith suddenly moved and dodged. He brushed against Louis in the process and made him lose his footing.Â
I gasped at the surprising turn of events. Before Louis could regain his footing Keith c ountered and pinched in the face. He punched again and I winced from the force.Â
Louis staggered backward and Keith followed up with another punched to head, knocking him to the floor. My eyes widened in horror as I watched the two. Louis had lost. Keith then got on top of Louis and began to punching him. 1Â
This was exactly what I had feared. I expected Keith to stop after a few punches but he horrifyingly continued going.Â
“Keith, what are you doing? stop!” I yelled at him. I then rushed into the ring heading towards them.Â
Keith, however, either didn’t hear me or was refusing to listen as he continued punching. Louis was moving trying block the punch and then suddenly stopped moving. My eyes.Â
“That’s enough he’s already down!” I repeated.Â
Using a move I learned from kick boxing I twisted my body around with my leg extended. Then using the full weight of my body kicked Keith, my leg connecting with his side and he got off Louis.Â
He staggered back as he looked at me in surprise. Immediately I knelt beside Louis and lifted head putting it in my lap.Â
“What the fuvk are you doing!? Are you trying to kill him?” I yelled at Keith. Louis‘ nose was bleeding and he had a few bruises on his face. Terrifyingly, his eyes were closed.Â
“He’s fine, I was just roughing him up but he was going to be fine,” Keith explained as he didn’t care at all.Â
He then got up from the ring floor and then he looked down at Louis on the ground. “Are you out of your mind! the rule was to knock the other person to floor, no-“I started.Â
“Jasmine I’m fine” Louis interrupted me weakly.Â
I stopped talking and looked down at him. His eyes fluttered open and a wave of reliefÂ

came over me.Â
“Louis–Louis are you okay?” I asked him.Â
“I’m fine,” he said as he slowly sat up and I helped him.Â
I took out a tissue from my jogger pockets and brought it up to his bleeding and swollen nose.Â
Keith was still looking at us from where he stood. My gaze turned to him again, my eyes burning with fury.Â
“I think you should leave, Keith. You’ve won right,” I said to him.Â
Keith didn’t reply as he stared at Louis and I. His epression was hard to read. Without another word, he left the ring and went to his bodyguard who was waiting outside theÂ
ring.Â
“How embarrassing” Louis said as he held the tissue up to his nose. I was so confident I could defeat him. If I hadn’t lost my footing I could have had him.”Â
“Serves you right for even suggesting the idea,” I snapped at him.Â
“I know, I’m sorry,” he said. “I just wanted to beat up the guy who’s hurt my girl and her impress her whilst I’m at it. Only to completely embarrass myself in the end.”Â
I let out an exhausted sigh. I knew I had something to do with his idea to fight him.Â
“Is that why you didn’t want me to fight? You knew I was going to lose?” Louis asked.Â
“No, I just didn’t want you get into anything unnecessary, especially if I am the center of what’s motivating your actions,” I told him.Â
“I see,” he replied.Â
“The gesture is sweet though. I appreciate it, I then confessed. I lowered my head to his and gave him a peck on his forehead. “you’re a winner in my eyes,” I told him.Â
“Stop. Now I feel even more embarrassed,” he told me and I laughed.Â
“Louis, are you alright?” Tony voice was heard and we saw him come towards us. He knelt beside me as inspected Louis with concern. “Your face is all red.”Â
“Yeah, I’m fine Tony,” Louis assured him. “Sorry to scare you.”Â
I noticed Louis‘ gaze then turned to something behind us. I looked and found Keith who was done changing back into his clothes staring back us. He then he scoffed.Â
“I’ll see you in court, Jasmine,” he said to me. “Bye Anthony,” he added to Tony.Â
177 Are you trying to kill him?Â
“Bye dad,” Tony answered in a small voice. He turned away and headed for the gym exit. His bodyguards followed behind him.Â
There three of us watched him leave. He had basically just declared war on me. However, I wasn’t bothered or worried. He wasn’t anticipating what I had prepared forÂ
him. I couldn’t wait to rub it in his face. Him and Diana.Â
“Uh, now I want a rematch and get my revenge, Louis said.Â
“Gosh no, no more conflict between you two,” I said.Â
“Should we go home, then?” he suggested.Â
“Yes, I think enough has happened today,” I said. “Besides, we have tends to your bruises before they swell.”Â
