189 Lush life 

JASMINE’S POV 1 

I sat in one of the many lounges of Louis‘ apartment and read through the temporary protection order document I received later during the day from the court of family affairs. My face was beaming as I looked at it. My face kept on replaying Keith’s poker face as soon as the judge gave his verdict. It was so satisfying to see. 

Louis and I had returned to his apartment after the court hearing. We agreed we would return to the Garden House HQ the following day. However, did have a few things to deal with so he was currently in his home office and told we would see each other after dinner. 

I tried Tonto help but he refused and said I should relax and take in my victory. Whatever that meant. I found myself seated in the lounge going through my phone as time passed. It was late in the afternoon now so Tony was going to arrive soon. “Tony!” I yelled out his name when he arrived home from school and walked into the lounge. I gave him a big hug and slightly lifted him off the floor. 

“Whoa mum! Why are you so happy?” he laughed and hugged me back. 

“Well the divorce with your father is going well,” I told him. 

“You can leave Dad?” he asked. 

“Yes, and you will only see your father if you want to but I’ll be there if course,” I told him. I wasn’t what would become of Keith and Diana. Whether they would stay together or not. And though Diana was the main perpetrator Keith still allowed her to have that kind of power. 

“Okay,” he accepted. 

“Is that all right?” I asked him, 

“I’m happy with everything right now. I’m happy with you and Louis,” he told me. 

I kissed him on the forehead. “Good,” I told him. 

He went to change out of his uniform then came back to the living room where I was. 

As it as his last week of school Tony didn’t have any homework so we could talk freely with no need to rush.

“So how was school?” I asked him. 

“It was fine. We didn’t do much because the school is closing so we were just playing half of the time. Oh a and tomorrow and Wednesday are only going to be half days for school hours because the coming holidays. 

We talked for a while until dinner where we met with Louis. 

“So since your holidays are starting the day after tommorow what should we do?” I asked Tony. It had had been fun going on small day outings but a vacation together would be lovely. 

On top of that now that I had a protective order I didnt need Keith’s approval before travelling outside the country with Tony. 

“Mmhmm, I d- k-,” Tony said with a mouth full of food and I was barely able to understand him. 

“Dont talk with your mouth full,” I chided him. 

“Sorry,” he said and swallowed quickly. My head shook in disapproval as I looked at 

him. 

“I said I don’t know where we can go,” 

“Maybe somewhere tropical, with lots sun and beaches,” Louis suggested. 

“Youre coming with us?” Tony asked. 

“What? You don’t want to come?” he asked Tony as if offended. 

“No, I do want you to come,” Tony answered in a panic. 

“A tropical place sounds nice,” I said. On the vacations Tiny and I had gone on in the past with Keith. If you could call them vacations, were just us tagging along for his business trips we had to follow his schedule for the most part. This time we could do whatever we wanted whenever we wanted. 

“We’ll through through some places this week and come to a decision,” Louis said. 

“Yeah,” I agreed. 

A few hours after dinner I took Tony to bed and as he got in his sheets he turned to 

1. me.

“You’re, sure Marco is going to be alright?” Tony asked me. 

“Yes. And very soon,” I assured him. “In the coming days he should be fine.”

I anticipated that as Keith unraveled Diana’s lies and found out the truth he would also find out about Marco and help him. Tony told me Marco had visible bruises on his body, Keith couldn’t miss them hopefully. 

In the file we were sending Keith it also contained further information about Marco. 

I was also anticipating the DNA test I had requested. Or maybe Keith would find out the truth himself from confronting Diana. 

Once I said goodnight to Tony I went to Louis bedroom and decided to take a shower before bed. 

Upon entering the bathroom I found Louis who had already taken a shower, shaving at the bathroom sink. 

After I came out of the shower with my towel wrapped around my body I returned to the bedroom. My hands were wrapping my wet hair in a towel. I decided I would blow–dry it later. 

Louis who just wearing briefs sat on his bed going through his phone. When he saw me approach, he put down he phone and pat the the space beside him on the bed. When I was close enough to him he grabbed my hand pulled me so I was standing in between his legs and looked down at him. 

“My men have sent Keith the files,” Louis told me. “Hopefully he’ll start looking into Diana’s sponsor soon.” 

“Good,” I replied as my arms went around his shoulders. 

“What do think has happened between the two them right now?” Louis asked as he looked up at me. 

“I don’t want to think about that man, right now,” I said as my hands went to his hair and ruffled it. 

Louis‘ eyes widened and a cocky grin appeared on his face. “You’re right. I don’t want you thinking about another man either.” he said seductively. 

His gaze then went from face down my neck and then fixed on my breasts which covered under the towel wrapped around my body. Since he was seated he was eye level with them.
