KEITH POVÂ
He told me I would find everything. I recalled the packages I had recently received. It was the one sent from Louis Carrington. I had been so angered by Diana the day beforeÂ
quickly brushed off the aide who had delivered it.Â
I sat at the seating area of the office and began to go through the contents of the envelope. For the next hour I was consumed by its contents.Â
I read through document after document discovering the details of a possible conspiracy that Diana has been a part of since after I married Jasmine 9 years ago.Â
My mouth widened in shock from just how long this had been going on.Â
Seeing all the pictures of Diana whenever she went out possibly meeting with this person right under my nose.Â
It put so many things into context. These people or person helping Disna one of them was possibly Marco’s real father. My face frowned in at what that meant.Â
Diana was cheating on me. If she continued to meet with them… All those times. I looked at a picture that was labelled from a few weeks ago where Diana went to tennis but was pictured entering a strange home I didn’t recognize to belong to any of her friends.Â
The report written by Jasmine and Louis said they suspected she had gone in to see her partner.Â
This was about a week or so before she told me she was pregnant.Â
My head shook in dissaproval. I was literally sleeping with her as well. I felt disgusted to my core.Â
To think of how desperately she kept telling she loved only to know she was meetingÂ
with someone else.Â
When I was done going through most of the things I growled angrily. To think all this was going on behind my back. I paced around my office for a minutes as all this information sank in.Â
I went behind my desk and placed my hands on it. Now Diana was gone and had takenÂ

my son and left Jasmine injured. I couldn’t let her get away with this.Â
My hands shoved everything off the desk in frustration. Everything that had been replaced was completely destroyed again. My hands ran through my hair. I just wanted the surprises to end now. For the past three days it had been surprise after surprise after surprise. I couldn’t handle anymore. I already had enough on my plate.Â
There was then a knock at the door to my office and I told them to enter and it was anÂ
aide who returned withÂ
“What is it!?” I asked him in anger and frustration.Â
The bodyguard shuddered in fear. “Uh, I brought you the update on the delivery truck that Ms Rockford escaped in as well as all the information on her servants, sir,” heÂ
started.Â
“Go on,” I told him. He came forward looking at everything I’d dropped on the floor.Â
He handed me one of the two folders in his hands. ” this is the folder folder on the missing sevantsÂ
“Anything interesting about them?” I asked him wondering if there weÂ
“No, the rest of their backgrounds check out sir,” he informed me. “There is nothing so far. I reached to their families and they say they haven’t heard from them in a while. Whatever they areÂ
“Continue to keep an eye on them and their families I ordered him.Â
The aide then opened the second folder and laid out the documents on the emptyÂ
table.Â
“We obtained footage from the traffic cameras on the streets, tracking the truck’s movements,” he told me. “From the estate, the truck went into the city center it exited the center from the west side and then onto a highway heading south.”Â
He showed each image showing the truck in the different locations it passed through.Â
“The footage then ends when enters this bridge on highway 87 here,” he said showing it on the pictures. “However, there are no cameras beyong that and we loose their trail. But it is thought that they went in that southern direction we willÂ
My eyes narrowed as I looked down at the picture.Â
“It could be that it’s trying to throw us off by making us think they went in thatÂ

direction then take another route when there aren’t any cameras,” I suggested. “I wantÂ
you check all other cameras in every direction from that last point and see if you can spot the vehicle.”Â
“Yea sir,” he accepted the order.Â
“And the company responsible for our deliveries to the estate what they have to say about this driver and truck they sent out to my estate?” I asked.Â
“They reported that the truck was taken from their premise by an unknown driver,” he informed me,Â
I scoffed. So the driver was an imposter?Â
This was just further confirmation that Diana was not working alone. To pull off a stunt like this requires a lot of work. Whoever this person was they seemed to know a lot about me. I’m sure it was Disna feeding them with information about the estate.Â
I let out a tired sigh. Time to move on to the next thing I suppose.Â
“I want you to prepare another property for me and have it ready by tomorrow, can’t live in a house with a gaping hole,” I ordered him. I couldn’t bring Jasmine here. I needed a safer place for her if we were being targeted. “Don’t make it too big. I want cameras in every unit, tight security and to have a few servants working in the house. A maximum of ten. Make sure none of them have any connection to each other and I want full reports on their backgrounds as well.”Â
“Yes, sir,” he said and then he left the room to carry out my orders.Â
I then called for another aide to discretely watch over the task I had given the former aide and ensure he actually carried out the task properly. I too would closely watch them as well. I would select a handful of bodyguards and aides as well. Only the ones I knew were loyal to me. I won’t let this happen again.Â
