Her stomach felt a wave of sourness. She felt nauseous, so she covered her mouth and dry- heaved.
Sean, who was right there, gently rubbed her back. Once she felt a little better, he helped her to the hospital room.
The moment she was back in the room. Tracy felt her head spinning, and her stomach lurched violently. She couldn’t help but vomit, and she threw up on Sean.
Tracy grew nervous. In her memory, Sean was a germaphobe. Her head felt faint; she suspected her fever had returned.
She hurriedly grabbed a tissue and frantically tried to wipe Sean clean, “I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to. Let me clean you.”
Sean’s dark eyes were fixed on her. He instinctively grabbed her hand, “Don’t move.”
Touching her slender hand, he felt her temperature was quite high. He immediately placed his large palm on her forehead, checking her temperature.
He then leaned down and, without a word, lifted Tracy into his arms, carefully placing her on the hospital bed.
As he pulled the blanket over her, they were very close, close enough to hear each other’s breathing.
Tracy could clearly hear Sean’s strong, powerful heartbeat. She felt even more embarrassed, and the temperature on her face instantly spiked.
Gary walked in at that moment. When he opened the door, the scene he witnessed was them practically leaning against each other.
The sound of the door startled the people inside. Sean cleared his throat and quickly stood
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt,” Gary quickly placed the oats on the bedside table and left in a hurry, as if being chased by a ghost.

Sean helped Tracy sit up. He took the food box, blew on the steaming oats, and began feeding Tracy.
Tracy touched her spinning head. She squinted and said, “I can do it myself.”
His gaze fixed intently on her. Although he didn’t say anything, Tracy felt an inexplicable pressure. She had no choice but to open her mouth obediently.
After only a few bites, Tracy started shaking her head, “I can’t eat any more.”
“You’ve only had a few bites. Is this all you usually eat?” Sean looked at the untouched oats in the spoon, frowning subtly.
She barely eats. She really doesn’t take care of her body.
“No. I just don’t have much appetite because I’m sick right now,” Tracy explained.
But in reality, Tracy had been in this state for a long time. She ate little and didn’t feel hungry even at mealtimes. She was already used to it.
She couldn’t tell the truth, so as not to worry him. The reason she felt stomach acid earlier was probably because she had overexerted herself last night, which made her hungry!
If she tried to eat a proper meal, she still couldn’t manage much. Coupled with her current recurring fever, her appetite was even worse.

She froze for a few seconds. It wasn’t until their backs disappeared that she reacted, turning and rushing back into the room.
Renee went to Hailey’s bedside and said mysteriously, “Mom, guess who I just saw when I opened the door?”
Hailey, seeing her being so dramatic, felt a headache coming on and asked, “Who could you possibly have seen? Why are you so shocked? Did you see some dignitary?”
She was used to her daughter’s histrionics and didn’t take her seriously.
Renee pursed her lips, displeased, “It was Tracy! I just saw her walking from the restroom,

“Mom, do you think the reason Tracy’s attitude changed so much toward us is because she’s cheating on Chandler?”
Renee pondered for a moment, then added fuel to the fire, “I saw the man just now. He seemed very concerned about Tracy. I bet those two have known each other for a long time. Tracy is an orphan and doesn’t have any brothers or younger male relatives. Could he really be her lover?”

Hailey fumbled under her pillow for her phone and called Chandler.
Seeing her mother call Chandler, Renee’s mood soared.
Tracy had the audacity to hit her and, in doing so, handed over the perfect ammunition. If she didn’t take full advantage of this, she’d regret it.
If Tracy really did something to betray her brother, they couldn’t just let it go.
The phone took a while to connect. Hailey angrily recounted what had just happened.
Finally, she added fuel to the fire, “Chandler, Tracy took thirty million from me a while ago. You have to find a way to get it back for me. I have receipts proving I transferred it to her, but she told me it was to buy you a present. If I had known she was this kind of person, I never would have given it to her! You have to figure out a way to get that money back for me!”
A moment of silence passed on the other end, then he replied, “I got it.”
Hanging up the phone, Hailey smiled cynically. That contract was already shredded. Her son certainly wouldn’t believe Tracy’s side of the story.
