Chapter 60 

Before Adelaide could say anything, Abigail suddenly grabbed 

her hands and her round eyes were full of urgency, saying “You have to help me.” 

Nathan and Reginald saw this scene. 

They both stood there in shock. 

Nathan cleared his throat, trying to break the awkward silence, “I guess…” 

He seemed stuck, couldn’t find a good reason. 

Reginald just chuckled and said, “She sure knows how to please both men and women.” 

After listening, Adelaide looked puzzled and asked, “Why do 

you trust me so much? Shouldn’t you ask your best friend for 

help?” 

“I don’t know, but I just wanted to find you. My intuition told 

me that finding you was definitely right.” Abigail didn’t lie, she 

always followed her intuition. 

Adelaide was frustrated by her hasty intuition, but since she had already spoken, she could only offer some self–perceived 

definitely wouldn’t actually marry you off” 

“Why?” 

“Because Mr. Murray loved you very much.” 

“What’s wrong with loving me? He still gets angry easily!”

parents love me so much, so no matter what I do, my parents 

will always have my back and won’t bear to scold me. They said I should do more reckless things while I’m young, because once I 

get old, I won’t be able to do them anymore.” 

Adelaide frowned, “Is he your friend?” 

“Um.” 

“Then you should stay away from those friends, they’re not 

really looking out for you,” Adelaide said bluntly. 

How could a real friend say something like that? 

“Okay” Abigail nodded without hesitation and said, “Actually, the way I pursued Reginald was taught by them, and they even gave me a potion, saying that I could use it on Reginald when necessary. As long as the rice is cooked, then Reginald will be in a relationship with me.”
