work late at the office.” 

“I was afraid of losing my train of thought, so I chose to work 

overtime at the company,” Adelaide spoke the truth. 

She didn’t expect that the first time she worked overtime, she 

would encounter such bad luck.

talking.”

Reginald picked up his phone, tablet, and bag, turned his face 

and said, “Let’s go.” 

Adelaide reached out her hand, “Mr. Thorton, I’ll take it myself.”
