The man’s dark eyes dropped, and he locked eyes with her for two seconds. Then, he wrapped Adelaide tightly with his right 

arm, snatched the short sword with his left hand, and kicked 

Amanda at the same time. 

Amanda screamed and fell into the water. 

“Help, help me Garrett.” 

Adelaide saw the bright red blood. 

She took two quick breaths, without thinking she covered 

Reginald’s left hand, “Reginald, you’re bleeding!” 

“No problem,” Reginald’s voice was deep and hoarse, but his 

reassurance was indeed gentle. 

Garrett didn’t care about Amanda struggling in the water, he 

just kept walking towards us like crazy. “Adele, are you okay?” 

Reginald saw him and he was all aggressive, his left foot swiped 

out from the water, kicking him in the chest, and sending him 

into the water as well. 

Adelaide didn’t care about those two, she just worriedly looked

Reginald missed the train.

Teresa to go back to the Sterling Estates to get the documents, 

then she called Cornelius, and finally Finley. 

Under Adelaide’s insistence, Reginald went to the hospital to 

have his wound treated again, and Nathan took her to the 

courthouse. 

When they arrived, Cornelius and Evelyn were already waiting 

at the courthouse entrance.

troublemaker in for me.”
