Chapter 110 Sleeping With Him? 

Inside the car, Emily turned her head to look at Alexander, her gaze steady and serious. 

Alexander looked back at her. Light and shadow shifted across his face. 

He repeated his demand to her once more. “Sleep with me 

once.” 

Unlike last time, this time he truly meant it. 

Emily could sense his seriousness, yet she still refused to give up easily. “You said before that if you want someone to agree to your request, you start by making an unreasonable one.” 

Alexander raised an eyebrow slightly. “This time is different. I really only want to sleep with you. After that, you can do whatever you want. Even if you want my life, that’s fine.” 

Emily’s face flushed instantly. She glared at him. “You shameless bastard.” 

A roguish glint filled Alexander’s eyes. “Sweetheart, you can take your time to think about it. As long as you want. I can wait.” 

Emily looked at him and fell silent.

Aaron’s whereabouts were unknown. She couldn’t get help from Ethan, and she had no choice but to seek someone else. 

Alexander had helped her before. She trusted that he would keep his word. 

It was just that his condition was something she might not be able to meet. 

Then another thought surfaced. What meaning did this so–called chastity even hold anymore? 

Alexander didn’t want to pressure her. He pushed the car door open, intending to get out and give her time to seriously consider whether she would go through with it. 

Before he could step out, Emily’s voice came from behind him. “I’ll do that.” 

Alexander turned his head, surprise flashing in his eyes. “Really?” 

Emily didn’t look at him. She lowered her head and said quietly, “Yes.” 

Alexander seemed unable to wait. As he got out of the car, he said, “I’ll drive.” 

When Emily moved into the passenger seat, her heart was 2/7 

racing with panic and unease.

She had already thought about divorcing Ethan, but they had never finalized the paperwork. 

If something really happened between her and Alexander, it would mean she was cheating while still married.

She struggled with these thoughts all the way until Alexander said, “Get out of the car,” leaving her no room to think further. 

At this point, backing out would only seem hypocritical. 

After getting out, Alexander took her wrist and led her toward the hotel with practiced ease. 

He was familiar with the route, as though he had been here many times. 

Emily was not surprised. For a man like him, hotel rooms were nothing new. 

When they reached the room, Alexander loosened his tie and tossed his jacket onto the sofa. 

“I’ll take a shower first. You still have time to think it over.” 3/7

Emily stood near the door, listening to him, her heart pounding violently. 

She wanted to run, but her legs felt as heavy as lead. 

Alexander naturally noticed her hesitation. He said nothing more and went into the bathroom. 

He thought Emily would take the chance to run while he was showering. 

But when he came out, she was still standing in the room. 

Seeing that she was still there, Alexander’s brow furrowed slightly. Just as he was about to say something, Emily suddenly spoke. “I’m going to wash up.” 

With that, she went into the bathroom. 

Alexander lit a cigarette by the floor–to–ceiling window, feeling unexpectedly conflicted. 

Before long, Emily came out after washing up. Seeing Alexander smoking by the window, she said nothing. 

After drying her hair, she looked at his back and said, “I’m going to bed.”

lay down naked on the bed. A white duvet covered her body, the subtle rise beneath it outlining her slender figure. 

For some reason, the smoke caught in Alexander’s throat, and he coughed repeatedly. 

Through the reflection in the window, he could see that Emily was already lying on the bed. 

Alexander pressed the cigarette, still burning, into the ashtray. Only then did he turn and walk toward the bed. 

When Emily heard him approaching, she squeezed her eyes shut. 

Alexander stood beside the bed, looking down at her. Her hair lay scattered across the white pillow, a quiet contrast beneath the soft light. The blanket reached only her shoulders. She was slender, her collarbones sharply outlined. 

His gaze moved lower. Beneath the blanket, her chest rose and fell with her breathing. 

That gentle contour made it impossible not to let one’s thoughts wander. 

Alexander’s mouth went dry in an instant. He pressed his lips together and then reached up to turn off the light.

Alexander sat down by the bed and lowered his head to ask her, “Are you sure you’ve thought this through?” 

Emily kept her eyes closed. “Yes.” 

Alexander parted his lips, wanting to say something more, but at that moment, the hotel room door was unlocked from the outside. 

Turning his head, Alexander could just make out the figure standing in the doorway. It appeared to be Ethan. 

Emily lifted her head slightly and also saw Ethan standing under the entryway light. His face was blurred in the shifting light and shadow, making it impossible to tell what he was thinking or to guess his emotions.
